We read in Leviticus 23:2 ELOHIM speaking to Moses; it says, “2 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, Concerning the feasts of YAHUAH, which ye shall proclaim to be holy convocations, even these are my feasts.” Did you notice that YAHUAH says, “2...my feast....” This is key; we must understand this; these Feasts are His; we are instructed to keep them in a particular way for a reason. Leviticus 23:4 reads, “4 These are the feasts of YAHUAH, even holy convocations, which ye shall proclaim in their seasons.” Read Leviticus 23:44, which states, “44 And Moses declared unto the children of Israel the feasts of YAHUAH.” We see, once again, these are YAHUAH feasts. These Feasts have to do with Seasons; why is that important? 1st Chronicles 23:31 states, “31 And to offer all burnt sacrifices unto YAHUAH in the sabbaths, in the new moons, and on the set feasts, by number, according to the order commanded unto them, continually before YAHUAH.” Read 2nd Chronicles 2:4, which tells us, “4 Behold, I build an house to the name of YAHUAH my ELOHIM, to dedicate it to him, and to burn before him sweet incense, and for the continual shewbread, and for the burnt offerings morning and evening, on the sabbaths, and on the new moons, and on the solemn feasts of YAHUAH our ELOHIM. This is an ordinance for ever to Israel." These Feasts given by YAHUAH to the Israelites are prophetic Feast of events that would take place in the future, and some cases have already taken place. We can go even further back in the Scriptures to the book of Exodus 23:14-17, where ELOHIM tells us, “14 Three times thou shalt keep a feast unto me in the year. 15 Thou shalt keep the feast of unleavened bread: (thou shalt eat unleavened bread seven days, as I commanded thee, in the time appointed of the month Abib; for in it thou camest out from Egypt: and none shall appear before me empty:) 16 And the feast of harvest, the firstfruits of thy labours, which thou hast sown in the field: and the feast of ingathering, which is in the end of the year, when thou hast gathered in thy labours out of the field. 17 Three times in the year all thy males shall appear before YAHUAH ELOHIM.” ELOHIM is telling us; we shall do this. Note that ELOHIM’s Feast can be found in the Old and the New Testaments; the Messiah and His disciples kept them. Matthew 26:17 states, “17 Now the first day of the feast of unleavened bread the disciples came to YAHUSHUA, saying unto him, Where wilt thou that we prepare for thee to eat the passover?" YAHUSHUA is telling His disciples to go and find a place that He can eat a Passover with them. Paul connected YAHUSHUA with the sacrifice (the sacrifice of the Messiah) with the Passover. Read 1st Corinthians 5:7, which says, “7 Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Mashiach our passover is sacrificed for us.” We have just given a peek at what the Scriptures are saying about the importance of the Feast. It is equally important to know how we are to celebrate. This excellent book explains the what and the how aspects of the Feasts days that YAHUAH gave the Israelites. To believe that because we have the unmerited grace of YAHUAH we have freedom to sin, it is an exciting thought. However, let us dig into this belief to get some real understanding. Let us look at the passage that justifies this position. Look at Romans 6:14, it reads, "For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace." If we stop here and close the book, it would appear that we are not under the law. We have grace; which is unmerited favor; it is undeserved favor from YAHUAH. We obtained the grace undeserving because there was nothing we did to receive it. Look at Romans 3:23, it reads, "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of YAHUAH;" Now if you go to Romans 6:23, it tells you, "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of YAHUAH is eternal life through YAHUSHUA our Adoni." Jump over to 1 John 3:4, this is telling us what sin is, it reads, "Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law." Now if you reread Romans 6:23, where he is telling us the breaking of YAHUAH laws is death. However, the gift of life is through YAHUSHUA. Here he is speaking about eternal life; we can have eternal damnation or eternal life. You can obtain eternal life because of the grace of YAHUAH. So again, if we close the book now, we do not have anything to worry about, we have grace. Clearly, this is not the case if you read Ecclesiastes 12:13-14, where it reads, "Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. 14 For YAHUAH shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil." What about grace? Go back to Romans 6:15, it states, "What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? YAHUAH forbid." He is telling us that it is foolish for us to think that when we come to YAHUSHUA it is now okay to sin. We should read the Bible in context; go to Romans 6:1-3, it says, "What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? 2 "God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?" Verse 3, reads, "Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Yahushua Ha'Mashiac were baptized into his death?" So, how are we going to continue to sin when we come to YAHUSHUA? He is our example; he is the epitome of how one should live; he was a lamb without blemish and without spot. So, to answer the question; if the law has been done away with? We then demonstrate that each of us has been given a portion of the Spirit of Elohim as our breath of life and consciousness. It is also the source of anointing or inspiration to speak the “Word” or the mind of the Creator, as did John the Baptist, King David, and the other prophets. Lastly, we delve deeper into “what is the Ruach Ha’Kodesh (Holy Spirit)?” specifically, what it does and its purpose. Remember, Ruach Ha’Kodesh is the Hebrew word for Holy Spirit or Holy Ghost. Some people have said that the phrase “Holy Ghost” makes them think of a Poltergeist, meaning a Spirit between the land of the living and the realm of the deceased. Many use this term but do not realize what they are saying; a “ghost” describes one who is dead and has returned. However, the “Spirit” we are discussing here has never been a person. The “Holy Spirit” or “Holy Ghost” is not the same; again, a “ghost” is something that once lived; it had flesh, whereas a “Spirit” never had flesh. YAHUSHUA never promised us a “ghost;” He promised us a “Spirit,” a “comforter.” what this book does is it tells us what the “Ruach Ha’Kodesh (Holy Spirit)” is and what is His job. The Church world will give us one definition of what the “Ruach Ha’Kodesh (Holy Spirit)” is, but it is different than what we read in the scriptures and what YAHUSHUA promised. The Messiah promised us a “comforter;” that would lead and guide us into all truths, all truths being something that he had already told us. We know the Messiah never said anything new; he only repeated what his Father said or what he heard his Father say. the “Ruach Ha’Kodesh (Holy Spirit)” is the “comforter” that is to lead and guide us through the Father's “Word.” The Bible tells us there are two categories of Spirits in the world; the Spirit of truth and the Spirit of evil; there is no in-between. The question is, which one are you operating under? We are operating under the Spirit of truth; we are showing you directly from the Bible, not from other ideologies, not Christian or any religious base, because we are not “religious” people. We are the true children of Israel; we believe in being led by the Spirit and what is written in the Holy Manuscript. The first time the word "Spirit" is mentioned in the Bible is in the book of Genesis 1:1-2, which reads, “1 In the beginning ELOHIM created the heaven and the earth. 2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of YAHUAH moved upon the face of the waters." This was the “Spirit of YAHUAH,” and keep in mind there are different types of Spirits. Revelation 1:4 reads, “4 John to the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace be unto you, and peace, from him which is, and which was, and which is to come; and from the seven Spirits which are before his throne." Isaiah 11:2 reads, "And the Spirit of YAHUAH shall rest upon him, the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and might, the Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of YAHUAH.” Notice the first “Spirit” mentioned is the “Spirit of YAHUAH,” which shall rest upon him (YAHUSHUA). There are many different types of “Spirits,” as you can see. We believe this is the same “Spirit” that is talked about in Genesis 1:2. He was making a statement of fact, and the ambiance in the room changed. Why did YAHUSHUA choose these words to speak? The disciples were in fear of the religious leaders; however, once they saw Him, they knew the "peace," the "shalom" that he had just proclaimed was stronger than their fear. "Peace" must be essential because it was the first thing YAHUSHUA said after rising from the dead. Similarly, YAHUSHUA commanded "peace" to the storm on the Sea of Galilee, and it was peace He spoke to His disciples in that room. In Hebrew, the word " Peace" is "Shalom," an absence of chaos or war; it is completeness, tranquility. YAHUSHUA displayed the meaning of peace when he commanded the winds and the waves to obey Him. In Mark 4:39, it reads, " And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm." It is precisely what happened in the upper room when YAHUSHUA appeared amid his disciples. He told His disciples to be calm; stop all the fear and chaos. Be at peace. The word "Shalom" is used for "Peace" 209 times in the Scriptures, and when it is used, it is used in terms of removing fear. Paul understood "shalom," when he wrote to the temple in Rome. Romans 10:15 reads, "And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace....” In Matthew 5:9, YAHUSHUA says, "Blessed are the for they shall be called the children of ELOHIM." The "peace" that YAHUSHUA came to provide for us is not a "peace" that this world can have because the world is in darkness. YAHUSHUA said it like this, in John 16:33, "These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world." YAHUSHUA is telling us that HaShatan will try to arouse us with the cares of this world, but do not let the fear that we will go through deter us. Zechariah, prophesied YAHUSHUA would bring light into darkness and provide a way to guide our feet into the way of peace. Look at how Paul describes it in Ephesians 6:15, here he is talking about the armor of ELOHIM; it reads, "And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace." To put it another way, walk in the way of peace. Walk in the peace of ELOHIM. Bring to mind John 14:27; it said, "Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid." Also, in Matthew 10:13, it reads, "And if the house be worthy, let your peace come upon but if it be not worthy, let your peace return to you." Isaiah 26:3 tells us, "Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee..." If our mind is stayed on ELOHIM because we trust in ELOHIM, the "peace" of ELOHIM is the "peace" that passes all understanding. As we gain knowledge and understanding of "peace," we will discover why YAHUSHUA said in Matthew 5:9, "Blessed are the for they shall be called the children of ELOHIM." Many people have different views about how the Sabbath day should be remembered and honored. It is critical that one of the first steps is to know the meaning of the word that ELOHIM chose to use. "Sabbath" is from the Hebrew word “Shabbat,” which means to cease to desist from something or to rest, to become inactive. Sabbath-keeping was not a new instruction for Israel; at Mount Sinai, ELOHIM had already set it up back in Eden. In the fourth commandment, YAHUAH told Israel to remember what had been their duty from the beginning: take a look at the book of Exodus 20:8-11, which says, “8 Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. 9 Six days shalt thou labor, and do all thy work: 10 But the seventh day is the sabbath of YAHUAH thy ELOHIM: in it, thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: 11 For in six days ELOHIM made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore ELOHIM blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.” ELOHIM never set aside our duty to keep the creation Sabbath; after the resurrection, the Apostles continued to honor it, as did YAHUSHUA during his time here on earth. In our sincerity, the Father looks at our hearts. But what is it that we are trying to do? Are we asking for something, or are we trying to see if the Father is listening to us? Take a look at the book of Proverbs 28:9, it says, "He that turneth away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer shall be abomination." So, for all who say, the law is dead; do you think your prayer is being heard? Go to 1 Kings 8:27-29, David wanted to build the Father a temple; but the Father told him no, someone from your loins would build it. Solomon builds the temple, and he is dedicating it. It reads, "But will ELOHIM indeed dwell on the earth? behold, the heaven and heaven of heavens cannot contain thee; how much less this house that I have builded?" Verse 28, "Yet have thou respect unto the prayer of thy servant, and to his supplication, O YAHUAH my EL, to hearken unto the cry and to the prayer, which thy servant prayeth before thee to day:" Verse 29, "That thine eyes may be open toward this house night and day, even toward the place of which thou hast said, My name shall be there: that thou mayest hearken unto the prayer which thy servant shall make toward this place.' So, when we pray; we always pray towards Jerusalem. The reason why is because the Father placed his name there; this is where the temple was built, and the Father's eye would be on it night and day. Let us stay in the same book, and chapter; but go down to verse 38, it reads, "What prayer and supplication soever be made by any man, or by all thy people Israel, which shall know every man the plague of his own heart, and spread forth his hands toward this house:" This is an instruction on how to pray correctly. There is a right and wrong way to do anything; although we know that in a time that we cannot pray properly; YAHUAH will hear us. However, if it is possible; there is a proper way of doing it. What is going on in verse 38 is; it is being explained how we should do it. Not only are we to face toward Jerusalem; we are to stretch out our arms. Let us look at what Solomon did in verse 22-23, it reads, "And Solomon stood before the altar of the YAHUAH in the presence of all the congregation of Israel, and spread forth his hands toward heaven:" Verse 23, " And he said, YAHUAH ELOHIM of Israel, there is no ELOHIM like thee, in heaven above, or on earth beneath, who keepest covenant and mercy with thy servants that walk before thee with all their heart:" Abba knows our hearts; He really does; it is evil from its youth, but those who walk before Him; properly, and do the things that He requires of us. He also knows that heart as well. After the temple was built, Solomon was praying to the Father in the presence of the Elders of Israel. He is explaining in this pray and instructions; that we are to pay towards the temple; forever. Go to 1 Kings 9:3, it reads, "And the Lord said unto him, I have heard thy prayer and thy supplication, that thou hast made before me: I have hallowed this house, which thou hast built, to put my name there for ever; and mine eyes and mine heart shall be there perpetually."
