The report also deals with the redeployment of 2 U.S. forces and Vietnamization of the war effort. Since this report primarily discusses a specific operation (Operation FIELD GOAL), the two previous CHECO reports on psychological operations are recommended reading for background information on (1) the problems of support for these missions in Southeast Asia and (2) the difficulty of evaluating the effectiveness of such operations.
