There are times in our lives in which God seems very far away. We don't understand His silence. We only feel the intensity of our pain and the echoing question of 'why?' The Bible declares that God is good, but can we still believe this when our lives are falling apart? In Keep Believing, Dr. Pritchard affirms what the Bible declares: that God is good and His mercy endures forever. This is true regardless of our moment-by-moment experience. God has provided comfort in our times of struggle and healing in our times of hurt through the balm of His Word. You believed in the light of day; will you still believe at midnight? Search the Scriptures with Dr. Pritchard for words of encouragement and hope. Put your confidence in the God who sorrowfully watched His Son suffer at Calvary for your benefit. Know that the same loving heavenly Father has everything completely under control. He is with you and longs to comfort you as you struggle through your hard times. Take a tell-tale look at your devotion to the Lord and His never-ending love and commitment to you in Keep Believing. You served God in the sunshine; will you now serve him in the shadows?

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The first mention of seed in the Bible is within the context of the first chapter of Genesis when God creates the world that we all live in. In Genesis 1:11 God says, "Let the earth bring forth grass yielding seed". Deuteronomy 24:19 states that when thou cutest down thine harvest in thy field, and hast forgot a sheaf in the field, thou shalt not go again to fetch it: it shall be for the stranger, for the fatherless, and for the widow: that the Lord thy God may bless thee in all the work of thine hands. While the earth remains, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night, shall not cease. Sow for yourselves righteousness; reap steadfast love; break up your fallow ground, for it is the time to seek the Lord, that he may come and rain righteousness upon you. As we prepare for God's harvest, we must create an atmosphere of honor to the Lord at church and in our lives. When we get this, we will not only reap the harvest, but we will do the right thing in God's eyes not only by getting people saved but also by teaching the people to honor the Lord and make Him a priority. Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. And let us not lose heart and grow weary and faint in acting nobly and doing right, for in due time and at the appointed season we shall reap, if we do not loosen and relax our courage and faint. As we recognize that we are living in the last days, there are some things that, as the Body of Christ, we need to do. We cannot sit around passively in church, thinking that Jesus will come back for His bride that has been complacent and stagnant.

But the breakneck pace of change can also frighten us. So how do Christians walk by faith through the innovations of Silicon Valley? And how does God relate to our most powerful innovators? To build a biblical theology of technology, journalist and tech optimist Tony Reinke examines nine key texts from Scripture to show how the world's discoveries are divinely orchestrated. Ultimately, what we believe about God determines how we respond to human invention. With the help of several theologians and inventors throughout history, Reinke dispels twelve common myths in the church and offers fourteen ethical convictions to help Christians live by faith in the age of big tech. Biblical, Informed Look at Technology: Written by the author of 12 Ways Your Phone Is Changing You and Competing Spectacles: Treasuring Christ in the Media Age Gathers Ideas from Industry Experts and Theologians: Interacts with Christian and non-Christian sources on technology and theology including John Calvin, Herman Bavinck, Wendell Berry, and Elon Musk Educational: Discusses the history and philosophy behind major technological innovations

Book excerpt: Acclaimed church leader, blogger, founder and chief strategic officer of The Unstuck Group, Tony Morgan unpacks the lifecycle of a typical church, identifies characteristics of each phase, and provides practical next steps a church can take to move towards sustained health. Think about your church for a moment. Is it growing? Is it diminishing? Is it somewhere in between? Acclaimed church leader, blogger, and founder and chief strategic officer of The Unstuck Group, Tony Morgan has identified the seven stages of a church's lifecycle that range from the hopeful and optimistic days of launch, to the stagnating last stages of life support. Regardless of the stage in which you find your church, it carries with it the world's greatest mission—to "go and make disciples of all the nations . . ." With eternity at stake the Church should be doing most everything within its power to see lives changed forever. The Church should strive for the pinnacle of the lifecycle, where they are continually making new disciples and experiencing what Morgan refers to as "sustained health." In The Unstuck Church, Morgan unpacks each phase of the church lifecycle, and offers specific and strategic next steps the church leader can take to find it's way to sustained health . . . and finally become unstuck. The Unstuck Church is a call for honest an assessment of where your church sits on the lifecycle, and a challenge to move beyond it.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: A church member came up to me after a church service and said in the course of our conversation "I hope I never live to see the last days of the church. I would like to just skip all the problems that generation will face." Many Church members when faced with the biblical subject of the last days feel the same way. To many churches have failed to prepare God's People for the end times. They have allowed fear and not faith to dominate their thinking or have taught them to believe they will never have to face such troubling times. Such preaching is failing not only the church but God himself. Much of the church is not ready for God's last shaking. But God does not have a "Plan B." God is going to get his church ready. Already He is raising up "prophetic voices" that will awaken his church. This is the challenge and calling God has given me and church leaders around the world - "get my people ready." The greatest days of the church are ahead and will reveal some of the greatest heroes of the church. As the Prophet Haggai predicted - God is going to "shake once again the heavens and the earth" to cause the nations to realize that the only stability in life is found in the Kingdom of God. The Lord is not going to allow 50% of the world's population to go quietly into hell. Scripture is clear that God is going to become "audacious" in manifesting the life and power of the Kingdom of God. He will raise up miraculous witnesses on prime time TV that even Antichrist can not touch. He will assign angels to publicly preach the gospel to every village and city in the world. Such audacious events will form the greatest climatic harvest wave in Church history. It is true that this amazing harvest will be accompanied by the worst persecution the church will ever experience. We must face this fact that there will be a generation of the church that will face this great test and it will be sooner rather than later. Yet Jesus has instructed us how to face this difficult time with faith and not fear. Such a season of "redemptive suffering" will produce the most glorious and victorious church ever seen in church history. This is the first book in a series called the LAST SHAKING. Book one will deal with the biblical truth of the great climatic harvest wave the church must prepare for. Book two will deal with the coming "Elijah Revival" - the greatest worldwide revival the church will have ever seen. Book three will deal with a study of some of the most amazing apostolic strategies that can quickly and effectively disciple this climatic harvest wave. It will also deal with the essential need of "church unity" and the forming of end time "Arks" to gather the harvest into. This is a must read book to help adjust the thinking of church leadership towards the work of the church in the end times. God is ready to shake the nations while manifesting a life giving unshakable church. Satan will do his worst but God will do his best.

In his speaking, he honestly examined his own work before the Lord in the light of these principles, provided adjustment and encouragement to his co-workers, and confirmed through personal testimony that the practice of the normal Christian church life revealed in the New Testament can be recovered.

Book excerpt: The Gospel written by the Beloved Disciple St. Augustine once said about the Gospel of John, that, "It is shallow enough for a child not to drown, yet deep enough for an elephant to swim in it." John contains the Bible's favorite verse - John 3:16. John's themes are essential to our understanding of Jesus as Son of God and Messiah. Here we learn about the Holy Spirit, the Counselor who lives within us to guide and empower us. We learn about the Father's love and eternal life. Some of the most beloved stories of Jesus' ministry are found only in the Fourth Gospel -- changing the water into wine, the woman at the well, the woman taken in adultery, raising Lazarus, washing the disciples' feet, and many more. In John's Gospel you find Jesus as the Bread of Life; the Light of the World; the Good Shepherd; the Way, the Truth, and the Life. John's Gospel is lengthy - 21 chapters, but rich and deep. Each chapter concludes with a summary of lessons for disciples to ponder. This study's helpful thought and discussion questions make it useful for personal enrichment and by small groups and classes. Extensive research contained in the footnotes makes it a goldmine for teachers and a boon to preachers involved in sermon preparation.
