Book excerpt: Since 2014 a series of writings and ideas appeared without any control by the mind, instructing a silent invitation to write them on paper. At the same time, this period coincides with an awakening of identity from individuality to collectivity. It has not been at all simple, different layers of energy have appeared through the consciousness begging for attention and compassion to feel them in depth. This book has a more philosophical spirit and investigator of both life and what appears freely through consciousness. Perhaps a more poetic sense of the experience that was emerging. This book was quietly resting since 2016, I don't know the reason why, however, in general terms I could comment that it is the third part of a trilogy that begins with "Conversations with an Owl", continues with "Song of a Hermit" and ends with these prosas. Trusting in what one feels and manifesting the experience of consciousness has a value that involves sharing what is inside you, specifically in your heart. At times, the sadness of some moments of "dark night of the soul" appears; in other alleyways, the depth of personal research and the free interpretation of what is born from the creative potential of each human being. Creativity allows us to re-evaluate our own beliefs and be aware of them to initiate the process of personal choice. We are the creators of our experience! Although we don't have control over the results. Interesting paradox! We must observe our attachment to nostalgia and depression, as well as the hidden beliefs about our separation from life. Much of it is illusions, as Buddha mentioned 2,500 years ago. In our awakening process, different artistic, creative and expressive discoveries can appear. Have the courage to share it, have the conviction of feeling who you really are Maybe your essence is closer than you feel than you think.

Book excerpt: Santa Fe, as a tourist destination and an international art market with its attraction of devotees to opera, flamenco, good food and romanticized cultures, is also a city of deep historical drama. Like its seemingly "adobe style-only" architecture, all one has to do is turn the corner and discover a miniature Alhambra, a Romanesque Cathedral, or a French-inspired chapel next to one of the oldest adobe chapels in the United States to realize its long historical diversity. This fusion of architectural styles is a mirror of its people, cultures and history. From its early origins, Native American presence in the area through the archaeological record is undeniable and has proved to be a force to be reckoned with as well as reconciled. It was, however, the desire of European arrivals, Spaniards, already mixed in Spain and Mexico, to create a new life, a new environment, different architecture, different government, culture and spiritual life that set the foundations for the creation of "La Villa de Santa Fe." Indeed, Santa Fe remained Spanish from its earliest Spanish presence of 1607 until 1821. But history is not just the time between dates but the human drama that creates the "City Different." The Mexican Period of 1821-1848, American occupation and the following Territorial Period into Statehood are no less defining and, in fact, are as traumatic for some citizens as the first European contact. This tapestry was all held together by the common belief that Santa Fe was different and after centuries of coexistence a city with its cultures, tolerance and beauty was worth preserving. Indeed, the existence and awareness of this oldest of North American capitals was to attract the famous as well as infamous: poets, writers, painters, philosophers, scientists and the sickly whose prayers were answered in the thin dry air of the city situated at the base of the Sangre de Cristos at 7,000 foot elevation. We hope readers will enjoy "All Trails Lead to Santa Fe" and in its pages discover facts not revealed before, or, in the sense of true adventure, enlighten and encourage the reader to continue the search for the evolution of "La Villa de Santa Fe."

¡Interesante paradoja!

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle.

Book excerpt: This resource compiles and locates biographical and bibliographical information of over 700 prominent Latin American dramatists of the late 20th century and their plays in 20 different countries, and it lists over 7,000 plays arranged by country and by author. Author biographies consist of year and place of birth, education, careers, other literary genres, and awards and prizes. The bibliographic listings include various editions of plays, followed by references to the plays in anthologies, collections, or periodicals. Latin American theater is rooted in the rich historical traditions of both the indigenous cultures of the region and those of Spain. In the second half of the 20th century, immigration to Latin America from Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia also proved influential, and theater became a means of social protest. The military and political dictatorships of the late 20th century often censored plays and persecuted playwrights.
