Das Burnout Syndrom kommt am Arbeitsplatz häufiger vor, als vielen bewusst ist. Rund 87% der Deutschen fühlen sich gestresst, Tendenz steigend. In den letzten Jahren leiden immer mehr Menschen unter Burnout-Symptomen und in den meisten Fällen ist die Ursache am Arbeitsplatz zu finden. Betroffene können sich nur schwer konzentrieren und sind daher anfälliger für Fehler. Das Privatleben von Erkrankten wird vernachlässigt und ausgeblendet, um Stressoren zu reduzieren. Um diese Krankheit vorzubeugen, werden im Folgenden Möglichkeiten für Unternehmen genannt, welche ihre Mitarbeiter vor einem Burnout schützen sollen.
