The poems contained in it are important on account of the light they throw upon the difierence of opinion which existed amongst our countrymen about the advisability of accepting or rejecting the Articles or Treaty of Limerick. In the preceding Volumes an Introduction has been devoted to a discussion of the principal theme of the poems in the volume.
