Book excerpt: Learning and naming the many parts and systems of the human body can be a daunting task for student nurses, as well as for other students preparing for careers in the various scientific and medical professions. This highly original book helps make learning a great deal easier. Hundreds of anatomically accurate line illustrations show human body parts and readers are encouraged to shade them in with colored pencils. It’s a simple physical task intended to imprint on students’ memories the shape and location of each body part, making later visualization and memory retention much easier. The book has a spiral binding hidden beneath the cover’s spine so that pages lie flat for easy coloring. Other features include— Tabbed chapter openers for quick reference Extra-heavy paper that minimizes show-through Every body system and part is presented All parts labeled with correct anatomical names An extra feature is a set of eight transparent overlays illustrating the human body. They simulate the peeling away of layers of tissue to reveal anatomical features, such as muscles, bones, organs, and circulatory system. The overlays are bound into the book with “scissor-perf” lines that show students where to cut. The Anatomy Student’s Self-Test Coloring Book is a must-have learning tool for all students and practitioners who require detailed anatomical knowledge. In addition to a substantial and instructive text, it features 144 two-color pages and 32 additional pages in full color.

Do you worry that you will fail your anatomy test. We tried to make this the best and most complete guide for help identifying anatomy parts with various pictures that are used from illustration. The key to identifying is from labeling what parts you know and then writing in the parts that you don't. 348 fully detailed colored pictures and models. Don't stress about anatomy tests Multiple illustrations and pictures for labeling practice. Never be surprised by anatomy pictures with various models of the same system. Check it out will ya. It will make your life easier. When I was taking anatomy for two sysmesters in college I can recall the struggle. The memorization and labeling needed to pass clinical and written tests. You would be taught one model and then a different pictures would show up on an exam and you would try to recall the information. I put hours and hours of effort into memorizing all the various models. Looking at outside information. Doing everything I could to figure it all out. Then I met a fella in a study session that showed me The smart way. The easy way. The best way. This system led me to creating this book now almost 10 years later to help you achieve anatomy success. In your future medical career you will need to know all the models and be able to recall them like the back of your hand. It should be second nature like adding 2 + 2 = 4. In that process you have to not only learn the information, but be able to apply it to different models. The more models you are exposed to the easier it will become. Their are only so many models of the human body can be drawn or pictures before you are just repeating yourself. We tried to have them all. That is why these This anatomy guide has all the systems played out for you in several pictures. Now this part is the key. By being exposed to all these models and putting in the simple research comparison between what you see in a text book and what all the other models look like will lead to labeling success. Let me be clear in saying you will have to put in some work in identifying all the structures. Like all things in life, nothing is free. If you can label all the parts in all these pictures then you can do it for all time. I hope this book gives you all the future success in your career as an over achiever. This book was released on 2012-09-01 with total page 288 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Welcome everyone to your guide to Human Anatomy & Physiology 2! This text will cover endocrine system, blood, heart, arteries, veins, lymphatic system, respiratory system, digestive system, urinary system, water, electrolytes, acids, reproductive system and development. I have been teaching college level human anatomy and physiology for many years, as well as other courses. My other classes taught have included: pathophysiology, biology, zoology, microbiology, and others. In this time I have seen thousands of students. I have learned through the years the best ways to learn the most information in the least amount of time. There are two ways to study, smart or hard. If you will follow my information and learn the key points of each chapter, you will make an excellent grade in your A&P class. In each chapter concentrate your efforts on learning the key terms. The key terms are the ones you are most likely to see on your exams. Learn to associate words and how to connect them. For example, anatomy is the study of the structure of the human body. Look at the key words in this sentence, anatomy and structure. Learn how to pick out these key terms and remember them, not the entire sentence or paragraph full of information. When given a paragraph, page or whatever; just memorize the key words and then learn how to associate them. Learn what they have in common and be able to speak from one word to the next. This will be the best way to learn your anatomy text. I will make the assumption that anyone reading this book is taking human anatomy and physiology. You will still need your text, but more as a reference to pictures and such. This guide will give you the important information from the chapters, which will be what you are most likely to see on an exam. Sample questions will be included, which are also the most likely for you to see on an exam. Note also that this book is not a guide for A&P lab. An anatomy lab book is little more than a book with lots of pictures in it. That is what anatomy is, memorizing parts and pieces of the body. You simply look at the picture in your book and then learn those parts on a model. You may be looking at a skull, brain, kidney, etc., it is simple memorization. This book is more to help you with the lecture.
