Download or read book Gestion énergétique dans les réseaux de capteurs sans fil written by Youcef Touati and published by ISTE Group. This book was released on 2017-06-01 with total page 142 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle.

Book Synopsis Localization in Wireless Networks by : Jessica Feng Sanford
Download or read book Localization in Wireless Networks written by Jessica Feng Sanford and published by Springer Science & Business Media. This book was released on 2012-05-03 with total page 207 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In a computational tour-de-force, this volume wipes away a host of problems related to location discovery in wireless ad-hoc sensor networks. WASNs have recognized potential in many applications that are location-dependent, yet are heavily constrained by factors such as cost and energy consumption. Their “ad-hoc” nature, with direct rather than mediated connections between a network of wireless devices, adds another layer of difficulty. Basing this work entirely on data-driven, coordinated algorithms, the author’s aim is to present location discovery techniques that are highly accurate—and which fit user criteria. The research deploys nonparametric statistical methods and relies on the concept of joint probability to construct error (including location error) models and environmental field models. It also addresses system issues such as the broadcast and scheduling of the beacon. Reporting an impressive accuracy gain of almost 17 percent, and organized in a clear, sequential manner, this book represents a stride forward in wireless localization.

This handbook also describes how each mobility pattern affects the MANET performance from physical to application layer; such as throughput capacity, delay, jitter, packet loss and packet delivery ratio, longevity of route, route overhead, reliability, and survivability. Case studies, examples, and exercises are provided throughout the book. Handbook of Mobile Ad Hoc Networks for Mobility Models is for advanced-level students and researchers concentrating on electrical engineering and computer science within wireless technology. Industry professionals working in the areas of mobile ad hoc networks, communications engineering, military establishments engaged in communications engineering, equipment manufacturers who are designing radios, mobile wireless routers, wireless local area networks, and mobile ad hoc network equipment will find this book useful as well.
Book Synopsis Applications of Mobile Ad-hoc Networks by : Humayun Bakht
Download or read book Applications of Mobile Ad-hoc Networks written by Humayun Bakht and published by . This book was released on 2017-02-09 with total page 112 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: A mobile ad-hoc network is a collection of mobile nodes forming an ad-hoc network without the assistance of any centralized structures. The whole life-cycle of ad-hoc networks could be categorized into the first, second, and the third generation ad-hoc networks systems. Present ad-hoc networks systems are considered as the third generation.Ad-hoc networks are suited for use in situations where an infrastructure is unavailable or to deploy one is not cost effective. One of many possible uses of mobile ad-hoc networks is in some business environments, where the need for collaborative computing might be more important outside the office environment than inside, such as in a business meeting outside the office to brief clients on a given assignment. Work has been going on to introduce the fundamental concepts of game theory and its applications in telecommunications. A mobile ad-hoc network can also be used to provide crisis management services applications, such as in disaster recovery, where the entire communication infrastructure is destroyed and resorting communication quickly is crucial. By using a mobile ad-hoc network, an infrastructure could be set up in hours instead of weeks, as is required in the case of wired line communication.
This book was released on 2015-01-01 with total page 138 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle.

Download or read book Réseaux de capteurs sans fil à multiples piles protocolaires written by Alexandre Guitton and published by Editions Universitaires Europeennes. This book was released on 2015-09-25 with total page 164 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle.
