He married three times (once in Germany). Joseph Neff (1829-1917), a grandson, moved from Pennsylvania to Crawford County, Ohio, and married Sophia Dorothea Yeiter in 1840. Descendants lived in Pennsylvania, Ohio, New Mexico, Idaho, California and elsewhere.
