Cette prise en charge utilise de nombreuses techniques communes avec la PMA mais aussi d'autres techniques. Nous souhaitions faire une synthèse des preuves retrouvées dans la littérature de l'efficacité de ces traitements. Pour répondre à notre problématique, voici la façon dont nous avons procédé : Nous avons choisi 14 traitements médicamenteux utilisés comme traitement de l'infertilité ou à l'essai dans ce domaine. Nous avons ensuite parcouru la littérature dans les bases de données médicales sur internet (notamment Medline) afin de trouver des articles où l'utilisation de ces traitements était abordée. Nous avons sélectionné entre 2 et 5 articles pour chaque traitement avant d'analyser de façon individuelle chaque article grâce à une grille de lecture unique à la recherche des 11 critères suivants : objectif de l'étude, type d'étude, année de publication, critère de jugement, population étudiée, traitement mis en place, temporalité de l'étude, localisation géographique, résultats et enfin niveau de preuve de l'étude. Cela a permis que notre travail soit reproductible et objectif quel que soit l'article. Afin de déterminer le niveau de preuve, nous avons utilisé la grille des niveaux de preuves de la HAS. Nous avons regroupé les différents traitements en trois groupes : niveau de preuve fort, intermédiaire et faible.
