Book excerpt: Habib Kchaou begins by describing the corruption and authoritarianism that characterized Tunisia in the 2000s and 2010s, and his own impressions of the revolution. Kchaou participated in organizing efforts through his membership with the Tunisian General Labor Union (UGTT). He describes how political and civil society forces collaborated to create the Haute Commission pour la Protection de la Revolution [High Commission for the Protection of the Revolution] and plan the transition. In 2011, Kchaou co-founded a think tank that sought to improve Tunisia's development model, an issue to which he thinks Zine El Abidine Ben Ali ought to have attended to avoid being deposed. He believes the Troika government, despite its problems, was inclusive. Kchaou describes Hamadi Jebali and Mohamed Ennaceur's productive collaboration at the beginning of 2012, which resulted in the national dialogue. Kchaou was advising former Prime Minister Ali Laarayedh on social affairs, but after the assassinations in 2013 he shifted his focus to engineering consensus. He narrates how the technocratic government was created to set up elections. He discusses Mehdi Jomaa's management style, and how Jomaa maintained neutrality. Kchaou speaks to Jomaa's successful handling of foreign policy, especially his defense of the image of the "new Tunisia" abroad. He explains how finance reform was achieved under Jomaa. He says that terrorism threatened the success of the elections. Kchaou concludes by recalling his own political involvement since he was a student, and expressing his optimism about the dialogue process facilitated by the Tunisian National Dialogue Quartet.

Basic physics of ultrasonographic imaging was released in 2005; since then, WHO has addressed the physics, safe use and different applications of ultrasound as an important diagnostic imaging tool. Since it is a non ionizing radiation technology, along with nuclear magnetic resonance imaging, the risks inherent to its use are lower than those presented by other diagnostic imaging technologies using ionizing radiation, such as the radiological technologies (X-rays and computed tomography scanners).

Qualified sick and family leave wages and the related credits for qualified sick and family leave wages are only reported on employment tax returns with respect to wages paid for leave taken in quarters beginning after March 31, 2020, and before April 1, 2021, unless extended by future legislation. If you paid qualified sick and family leave wages in 2021 for 2020 leave, you will claim the credit on your 2021 employment tax return. Under the FFCRA, certain employers with fewer than 500 employees provide paid sick and fam-ily leave to employees unable to work or telework. Book excerpt: The economic burden of breast cancer for women under 50 in the United States remains largely unexplored, in part because young women make up a small proportion of breast cancer cases overall. To address this knowledge gap, we conducted a web-based survey to compare data from breast cancer survivors 18–39 years of age at first diagnosis and 40–49 years of age at first diagnosis.We administered a survey to a national convenience sample of 416 women who were 18–49 years of age at the time of their breast cancer diagnosis. We analyzed factors associated with financial decline using multivariate regression.Survivors 18–39 years of age at first diagnosis were more likely to report Stage II–IV breast cancer (P < 0.01). They also quit their jobs more often (14.6%) than older survivors (4.4%; P < 0.01) and faced more job performance issues (55.7% and 42.8%, respectively; P = 0.02). For respondents in both groups, financial decline was more likely if the survivor had at least one comorbid condition (odds ratios: 2.36–3.21) or was diagnosed at Stage II–IV breast cancer (odds ratios: 2.04–3.51).

These may represent significant pathological changes which can not al ways be fully revealed by the echo pattern alone. There is, therefore, an increasing need for the supplement of the ultra sonically guided percutaneous puncture, which can be per formed with great accuracy and with virtually no risk. Also, ultrasonically guided puncture has proven invaluable for a wide variety of therapeutic purposes. The first percutaneous puncture guided by ultrasonic scanning using a specifically designed transducer was per formed in 1969 at the ultrasonic laboratory in Gentofte, now Herlev, Hospital, Copenhagen. The idea was based on a punc ture transducer described and used by Kratochwill for punc ture under the guidance of the ultrasonic A-presentation tech nique. The development in the field formed the basis of the First International Conference on Ultrasonically Guided Puncture at Herlev Hospital in 1978 sponsored by The Danish Society of Diagnostic Ultrasound. The knowledge and experience of the speakers at that conference was compiled in the book "Ultrasonically Guided Puncture Technique" published in 1980. Since then the Society has sponsored a conference at the same place in 1980 and 1983, the latest conference being termed "Third International Conference on lnterventional Ultrasound".
