This will challenge the conservative Christian's beliefs of where the mind can go, and challenge the non-Christian as to what Bipolar disorder can be. Those who have mental illness and what is called mental illness will relate to the writing and writing style: the main expression of my hypomania and mania. The construction is partially designed to offend churchy folks and the medical industry, a poke in the eye towards the abuses I've received from both, while seeking help. We are all living in a stand in the gap moment of time, the Christian's 1950's frame of mind and the realities of 2017, which I attempt to bridge in this book and the yet to be released 2nd volume. Topics presented are defenses of the KJB, artificial intelligence, the end times, the spiritual dynamics of the two separate but interlaced kingdoms of good and evil, humor, fiction, bipolar health, and so much more... Presented as essays in chapters, in chronological order, all of which are related.

Book Synopsis The major projects report 2011 by : Great Britain: National Audit Office
Download or read book The major projects report 2011 written by Great Britain: National Audit Office and published by The Stationery Office. This book was released on 2011-11-16 with total page 78 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Action taken by the Ministry of Defence to balance its overall budget in the short term following the Strategic Defence and Security Review has contributed to a near £500 million in-year cost increase in the 15 largest defence projects. When coupled with previous cost growth, these projects are now £6 billion above forecasts made when the main investment decisions were taken. For the third successive year, central planning decisions taken by the Department, including delaying various projects, have had the biggest impact on cost growth, accounting for £237 million of the increase. Of this, £113 million relates to decisions to enhance capability. Macro-economic factors, such as adverse foreign exchange rates, accounted for £176 million of the increase. Cost overruns from project-specific technical issues accounted for £53 million. During 2010-11, there was a total increase of 30 months (with an average two months per project) in the forecast time to complete these projects and bring them into service. This brings the total delay on all 15 projects to 26.8 years. Long-term cost analysis by the NAO has shown that the difference between the approved and forecast costs of all projects which have had their main investment decision approved since 2000 is £10.6 billion (an 11.4 per cent increase). Additional costs have been avoided by reducing the amount of equipment the Department originally planned to buy. Had the Department not reduced equipment numbers, cost growth could have been between £18.2 billion and £19.4 billion (approximately 20 per cent) above the approved costs.

Book Synopsis Future Maritime Surveillance by : Great Britain: Parliament: House of Commons: Defence Committee
Download or read book Future Maritime Surveillance written by Great Britain: Parliament: House of Commons: Defence Committee and published by The Stationery Office. This book was released on 2012-09-19 with total page 124 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The Committee has serious concerns following the decision in the 2010 Strategic Defence and Security Review (SDSR) to cancel the Nimrod MRA4 maritime patrol aircraft (MPA) programme. Although the MoD's own capability investigations have concluded that a MPA is the solution to the UK's maritime surveillance requirements over the next 20 years, the MoD has postponed any decision on a further MPA until at least the next SDSR in 2015. The MoD has acknowledged that the resultant capability gap cannot be completely covered by an existing single asset or collection of assets. The Committee is concerned that the MoD is sending mixed messages in respect of the need for a maritime patrol aircraft. On one hand it says that there is no requirement for such an aircraft and that it is not funded or in the programme but on the other hand it acknowledges that its absence is a risk and something may need to be done. The Committee is also concerned about the withdrawal of other maritime surveillance assets. However the report acknowledges the work the MoD has undertaken to explore the potential options for maritime surveillance in the longer term, such as unmanned systems, lighter-than-air vehicles and space technology. The report welcomes the establishment of the Maritime Security Oversight Group and the National Maritime Information Centre as first steps towards a more strategic and co-ordinated output and as a way of mitigating some of the capability gaps

Book Synopsis The Rise and Fall of Jesse James by : Robertus Love
Download or read book The Rise and Fall of Jesse James written by Robertus Love and published by U of Nebraska Press. This book was released on 1990-01-01 with total page 476 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Jesse and Frank James were household names long before images of America's most wanted were televised. For several decades after the Civil War, they were hunted by hundreds who supposed them to be involved in every bank and train robbery in the Midwest. Trained as guerrilla fighters in the border conflict between Kansas and Missouri, they joined with the Younger brothers in February 1866 to rob a bank in Liberty, Missouri. That was the beginning of a criminal confederation that seemed beyond the reach of the law until the Northfield, Minnesota, raid killed three of them and sent the James brothers into hiding. But they were the objects of posted rewards that proved too tempting in Jesse's case: in 1882 he was shot in the back by Robert Ford of his own gang. The Rise and Fall of Jesse James, by Robertus Love, a newspaperman who knew Frank James, is a pioneering work that plumbs the personalities of the outlaws, looks at their domestic lives, cites many stories about them, and attempts to separate fact from legend in tracking their violent operations. Michael Fellman assesses Love's 1926 book in his introduction to this Bison Books edition.
