When the Earth is created, Lucifer is overlooked and, in a jealous rage, an evil plan flourishes in his heart, a plan that will strike at the very heart of God through His newly created family. Satan wants the Throne of the Almighty as his own, and demands for himself the loyalty and adoring praise due only to the Creator. This takes the universe to the brink of annihilation. The Earth becomes Lucifer's trophy, won by deception. Mankind is doomed to reflect the traits of the new Commander-in-Chief, Satan, and to die an eternal death. God has a counter plan of His own, but his children have to first accept it. The world is on a mad spiral toward extinction with Satan at the helm until the Divine Plan is put in action. Who will win this devastating war and bring home the trophy? Once Were Angels is the most exciting adventure story of all time, as well as the biggest disaster and greatest rescue, encapsulated in an easy to read, hard-to-put-down book.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Does it seem you just cannot win the battle over the devil? Are you battling the temptation to sin or hiding secret sins from your church and family? Do you find it difficult to participate in church groups or struggle to pray and read the Bible? When we think of deliverance, we think of salvation, but this is only the first step. Deliverance is receiving freedom, and many Christians need freedom from their loaded baggage of sin. We say the sinner’s prayer and we think that’s it—we’ve got our deliverance. But this is just the beginning. Some Christians struggle their whole lives with temptation; they need deliverance, and there are so few deliverance ministries out there. The Holy Spirit Will Deliver You offers hope and guidance toward relief and redemption. With the aid of the Holy Spirit, author Patricia L. Loranger undertook two lengthily spiritual deliverances, in which she cast a large number of evil spirits out of herself. She knows that through the aid of God’s Spirit that dwells within, all believers can set themselves free from the chains that bind them. Based on one woman’s personal experiences and grounded in scripture, this guide provides Christians seeking deliverance with answers and steps to take toward their ultimate freedom.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Illuminating the Dark Side’s Spirits, Fiends, Devils, and Demons. Throughout human history, we have been obsessed with the dark opposites of God and angels, light, and mercy. Whether it is our religious and sacred texts, folklore and myths of old, legends, fairy tales, novels, or the movies and television shows of today, the dark entities enthrall us, terrify us, and remind us of the dualities of life. But where did they originate? Are they real? Does every religion or region of the world include them? Exploring over two dozen religious traditions, myths, folkloric and spiritual traditions, the world of the supernatural, and the demons, the Devil, and fallen angels in today’s pop culture, Demons, the Devil, and Fallen Angels is a comprehensive resource of the many faces of the devil, his minions, ominous deities, and the darker side of nature and ourselves. From ancient demon worship to modern Satanism, the bloody era of the Inquisitions and later witch burnings to the Satanic Panic of the late-twentieth century, and secret occult societies to Hitler's involvement with demonology, this book covers it all! You'll learn about the key figures in history associated with demons and the Devil, the worshiping of the dark forces, and the lives of Aleister Crowle, John Dee, and Anton LaVey, as well as well-known figures who were alleged Satanists, some of whom may surprise you! Also featured are dozens of examples of links between demons/fallen angels and aliens, cryptids, apparitions and poltergeists, and IDEs (interdimensional entities). Were the demons of the Bible possibly ancient alien visitors? Are alien abductions and poltergeists really demons in disguise? Is Slender Man a modern day demonic entity ... or totally fake? This fascinating look at Satan, evil spirits, and their 10,000-year history has 120 photographs, drawings, and illustrations to bring the portraits of over 200 demons and fallen angels to shivering life. Demons, the Devil, and Fallen Angels also includes a helpful bibliography and an extensive index, adding to its usefulness. It is a comprehensive, clear, and objective look at a subject that fills most people with fear and dread. Yet the presence of dark angels continues to remain a part of our human experience, our popular culture, and our spiritual understandings. Come and explore the shadowy side of existence and its integral part of our nature.

Book excerpt: Holy Wars “is the most memorable book on the subject of church music I've ever read. . . Your work is exquisite! ” Frank Pooler Professor/Director Cal State Long Beach University Choir. Holy Wars is a comprehensive worship study written for every believer who seeks to live a life of true biblical worship within the cultural storm that we find ourselves today. It is an intimate book written for the benefit of promoting a personal relationship with Jesus Christ according to the guidance of God’s Word. When we think of “Holy Wars” one might picture terrorism. But there is a Holy War raging within the church itself that is proving to be of far more consequence than Islamic dread. Because this war is engaged within the worship life of the people of God, the outcome could seriously undermine Christian orthodoxy and the Christian way of life for generations to come. As the result of the efforts of Church Growth advocates, congregations throughout America are contending over different notions of worship. The decisions that Christians make in that regard will determine the shape and influence of the Church and the nature of our society over the next century. We can find answers within this ongoing battle once we have come to a full understanding of the nature of biblical worship. Many times manipulative entertainment schemes, attempts to conform to the world, watered-down theology, church politics, mediocre music and unbiblical worship forms drag the people of God away from their true calling. Holy Wars delves into each of these areas of church life to discern what is going wrong while offering specific biblical remedies.

Book excerpt: A compassionate, shame-free guide for your darkest days “A one-of-a-kind book . . . to read for yourself or give to a struggling friend or loved one without the fear that depression and suicidal thoughts will be minimized, medicalized or over-spiritualized.”—Kay Warren, cofounder of Saddleback Church What happens when loving Jesus doesn’t cure you of depression, anxiety, or suicidal thoughts? You might be crushed by shame over your mental illness, only to be told by well-meaning Christians to “choose joy” and “pray more.” So you beg God to take away the pain, but nothing eases the ache inside. As darkness lingers and color drains from your world, you’re left wondering if God has abandoned you. You just want a way out. But there’s hope. In I Love Jesus, But I Want to Die, Sarah J. Robinson offers a healthy, practical, and shame-free guide for Christians struggling with mental illness. With unflinching honesty, Sarah shares her story of battling depression and fighting to stay alive despite toxic theology that made her afraid to seek help outside the church. Pairing her own story with scriptural insights, mental health research, and simple practices, Sarah helps you reconnect with the God who is present in our deepest anguish and discover that you are worth everything it takes to get better. Beautifully written and full of hard-won wisdom, I Love Jesus, But I Want to Die offers a path toward a rich, hope-filled life in Christ, even when healing doesn’t look like what you expect.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In this book, we will take the unique approach and read the Book of Revelation as it was meant to be read. That is we will read Revelation exactly as Apostle John wrote it, with his Hebraisms and his Jewish writing style. Taking into account John’s Jewish mindset we will embark on a very different approach to interpreting his Divinely given visions – the visions which later came to be compiled into what is now known as the Book of Revelation. First, we must look at the Book of Revelation in context and realize that it is a letter written in the first-century by a Jewish Christ follower who lived in a Roman dominated society where Roman/Greek gods were idolized and worshiped. With this in mind, we need to understand John’s mindset – being that he thought in Hebrew, but wrote in the language of the land, which was Greek. We also must realize that John’s letter was meant for a predominately Jewish audience, who may or may not have believed that Jesus was the Jewish Messiah, who lived under Roman rule, and therefore, dominated spiritual and cultural values.... values that went against those of the Jewish people who worshipped the God of Israel. Therefore, John’s letter to the people of the churches in Asia Minor was very anti-Roman. Characteristic of ancient Jewish literature was a very unique writing style. Thoroughly Jewish, John wrote with this 7 characteristic style and the Jewish people were accustomed to reading it. What are the implications of interpreting John’s letter exactly as he wrote it, with its characteristic Jewish style? Actually, several very different ideas emerge as to both the structure and the timeline of the Book of Revelation, creating interpretations that are quite unlike interpretations we may have been exposed to when studying the Bible through traditional methods. For instance, we will see that the timeline of the Book of Revelation is multidimensional and reiterative, which is very different than the typical linear and sequential interpretation we are accustomed to reading, and as modern theologians teach. We also see that using John’s style that the Book of Revelation has a very different structure than is presented in the New Testament as contained in the Bibles of today. What if the timeline of the Book of Revelation is not linear and sequential, as it has traditionally been read from beginning to end? What if the structural divisions of Revelation we are so accustomed to are artificial, and not as John originally intended them to be?
