Por último, a falta de perspectiva histórica para integrar mejor en la trama general del ensayo los nuevos museos y los nuevos interrogantes surgidos en el último cuarto de siglo, se les dedica un epílogo donde se ha seleccionado un amplio muestrario desde el punto de vista del papel de los museos en los procesos de revitalización urbana.
