This book was released on 1999 with total page 163 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: EN CHIMIE ORGANIQUE, PARALLELEMENT A L'OBTENTION D'UN PRODUIT PUR PAR SYNTHESE SONT GENERES DES DECHETS VARIES: SOUS-PRODUITS DE REACTION, EFFLUENTS SALINS, SOLVANTS CECI EST UN DES PROBLEMES MAJEURS DE LA CHIMIE INDUSTRIELLE D'UN POINT DE VUE ECONOMIQUE ET ECOLOGIQUE, CAR IL FAUT STOCKER, VALORISER, RECYCLER, TRAITER OU DETRUIRE CES DECHETS. UN MOYEN DE MINIMISER LEUR FORMATION EST D'EFFECTUER LES REACTIONS DE SYNTHESE PAR VOIE CATALYTIQUE HETEROGENE EN PHASE GAZ, A RELATIVEMENT HAUTE TEMPERATURE ET EN L'ABSENCE DE SOLVANT. CETTE TECHNIQUE A ETE APPLIQUEE ENTRE 200 ET 350\C A L'OBTENTION SELECTIVE DE CETONES C-ALKYLEES PAR LE DIMETHYLCARBONATE ET LES ALCOOLS SUR DES CATALYSEURS DE TYPE PHOSPHATE, ET A L'OBTENTION SELECTIVE D'AMINES AROMATIQUES ET ALIPHATIQUES N-ALKYLEES PAR LES ALCOOLS SUR ALUMINE. NOUS AVONS NOTAMMENT MONTRE QU'IL EST POSSIBLE, EN CHOISISSANT LES CONDITIONS REACTIONNELLES, D'OBTENIR SELECTIVEMENT LES PRODUITS DE MONO-, DI- OU TRIMETHYLATION DE LA CYCLOPENTANONE PAR LE DIMETHYLCARBONATE SUR PHOSPHATE DE LANTHANIDE OU SUR HYDROXYAPATITE DE CALCIUM. LA METHYLATION SELECTIVE PAR LE DIMETHYLCARBONATE A ETE ETENDUE A D'AUTRES CETONES TELLES QUE LA CYCLOHEXANONE, L'ACETOPHENONE OU L'-TETRALONE. MEME S'ILS SONT MOINS REACTIFS, LE METHANOL ET LES ALCOOLS SE SONT EGALEMENT REVELES ETRE DE BONS AGENTS C-ALKYLANTS DES CETONES SUR HYDROXYAPATITE DE CALCIUM. LES ALCOOLS PRESENTENT L'AVANTAGE DE GENERER DE L'EAU COMME SEUL SOUS-PRODUIT DE LA REACTION D'ALKYLATION. LEUR UTILISATION A AINSI ETE ETENDUE A LA N-ALKYLATION DES AMINES EN PHASE GAZ, OU NOUS AVONS MONTRE QUE L'ENCOMBREMENT DE L'ALCOOL ET DE LA FONCTION AMINE JOUAIT UN ROLE SUR LA REACTIVITE DES MOLECULES ET LA SELECTIVITE DE N-ALKYLATION. ENFIN, NOUS AVONS MONTRE QUE LES AMINES CHIRALES POUVAIENT ETRE N-ALKYLEES DANS CES CONDITIONS SANS TOUCHER A LA CHIRALITE. CES RESULTATS MONTRENT QUE LA CATALYSE HETEROGENE EN PHASE GAZ EST ADAPTEE A DE NOMBREUSES TRANSFORMATIONS DE CHIMIE ORGANIQUE FINE.

DE CE FAIT, LA CATALYSE HETEROGENE PRESENTE DIFFERENTS AVANTAGES DONT LA RECUPERATION FACILE DES PRODUITS ET LA DIMINUTION DE SOUS-PRODUITS (SELS) INTERESSANTE DANS LA CHIMIE DE L'ENVIRONNEMENT. UN DES OBJECTIFS ACTUELS EST DE DEFINIR DES SOLIDES POSSEDANTS DES BASICITES VARIABLES, POUR LEUR UTILISATION EN CHIMIE ORGANIQUE FINE EN PHASE LIQUIDE, SUR DES REACTIONS D'EXIGENCE DIFFERENTE. DANS CET ESPRIT, LA BASICITE DE ZEOLITHES CSNAX ET CSNAY A PU ETRE EXALTEE PAR IMPREGNATION AVEC DIVERS TAUX D'ACETATE DE CESIUM SUIVIE D'UNE CALCINATION GENERANT DES ESPECES OXYDES EN INCLUSION. LA CARACTERISATION PHYSICO-CHIMIQUE DES SOLIDES A ETE EFFECTUEE PAR ANALYSE THERMOGRAVIMETRIQUE, DIFFRACTION DES R.X, ANALYSE VOLUMETRIQUE ET THERMODESORPTION PAR PALIERS DU CO#2. CETTE DERNIERE TECHNIQUE A PERMIS DE MONTRER QUE LE NOMBRE ET LA NATURE DES ENTITES FORMEES A L'INTERIEUR DES CAGES DES ZEOLITHES VARIENT AVEC LE TYPE X OU Y DE LA ZEOLITHE PARENT. AINSI, LES ESPECES DISPERSEES DANS LE SOLIDE X SONT DES OXYDES DE CESIUM CS#2O, TANDIS QUE DES CLUSTERS (CS#2O)#2 SONT PRESENTS DANS LA ZEOLITHE Y. L'ACTIVITE CATALYTIQUE DES ZEOLITHES MODIFIEES A ETE MESUREE SUR LA REACTION MODELE DE KNOEVENAGEL ENTRE LE BENZALDEHYDE ET LE CYANOACETATE D'ETHYLE EN PHASE LIQUIDE. LES ETUDES CINETIQUES DE LA REACTION ET LA DETERMINATION DU MECANISME, REALISEES DANS L'ETHANOL ET LE DIMETHYLSULFOXYDE ONT CLAIREMENT MIS EN EVIDENCE LE ROLE DU SOLVANT EN CATALYSE HETEROGENE. DES CORRELATIONS ACTIVITE/BASICITE REVELENT QUE LES OXYDES DE CESIUM (CS#2O) ENCAPSULES DANS LA ZEOLITHE CSNAX SONT DEUX FOIS PLUS ACTIFS QUE LES CLUSTERS (CS#2O)#2 IMPREGNES DANS LA ZEOLITHE CSNAY. ELLES MONTRENT L'INFLUENCE DE LA COMPOSITION DE LA ZEOLITHE HOTE SUR LA BASICITE DE L'OXYDE ENCAPSULE

Book Synopsis Modélisation et spectroscopies en catalyse hétérogène by : Sylvain Cristol
Download or read book Modélisation et spectroscopies en catalyse hétérogène written by Sylvain Cristol and published by . This book was released on 2008 with total page 84 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle.

Book Synopsis Oxidative Stress and Redox Regulation by : Ursula Jakob
Download or read book Oxidative Stress and Redox Regulation written by Ursula Jakob and published by Springer Science & Business Media. This book was released on 2013-03-15 with total page 488 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Many physiological conditions such as host defense or aging and pathological conditions such as neurodegenerative diseases, and diabetes are associated with the accumulation of high levels of reactive oxygen species and reactive nitrogen species. This generates a condition called oxidative stress. Low levels of reactive oxygen species, however, which are continuously produced during aerobic metabolism, function as important signaling molecules, setting the metabolic pace of cells and regulating processes ranging from gene expression to apoptosis. For this book we would like to recruit the experts in the field of redox chemistry, bioinformatics and proteomics, redox signaling and oxidative stress biology to discuss how organisms achieve the appropriate redox balance, the mechanisms that lead to oxidative stress conditions and the physiological consequences that contribute to aging and disease.
Book Synopsis Flexoelectricity in Liquid Crystals by : Agnes Buka
Download or read book Flexoelectricity in Liquid Crystals written by Agnes Buka and published by World Scientific. This book was released on 2013 with total page 299 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The book intends to give a state-of-the-art overview of flexoelectricity, a linear physical coupling between mechanical (orientational) deformations and electric polarization, which is specific to systems with orientational order, such as liquid crystals. Chapters written by experts in the field shed light on theoretical as well as experimental aspects of research carried out since the discovery of flexoelectricity. Besides a common macroscopic (continuum) description the microscopic theory of flexoelectricity is also addressed. Electro-optic effects due to or modified by flexoelectricity as well as various (direct and indirect) measurement methods are discussed. Special emphasis is given to the role of flexoelectricity in pattern-forming instabilities. While the main focus of the book lies in flexoelectricity in nematic liquid crystals, peculiarities of other mesophases (bent-core systems, cholesterics, and smectics) are also reviewed. Flexoelectricity has relevance to biological (living) systems and can also offer possibilities for technical applications. The basics of these two interdisciplinary fields are also summarized.
Book Synopsis Cambridge Handbook of Engineering Education Research by : Aditya Johri
Download or read book Cambridge Handbook of Engineering Education Research written by Aditya Johri and published by Cambridge University Press. This book was released on 2014-02-10 with total page 1124 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The Cambridge Handbook of Engineering Education Research is the critical reference source for the growing field of engineering education research, featuring the work of world luminaries writing to define and inform this emerging field. The Handbook draws extensively on contemporary research in the learning sciences, examining how technology affects learners and learning environments, and the role of social context in learning. Since a landmark issue of the Journal of Engineering Education (2005), in which senior scholars argued for a stronger theoretical and empirically driven agenda, engineering education has quickly emerged as a research-driven field increasing in both theoretical and empirical work drawing on many social science disciplines, disciplinary engineering knowledge, and computing. The Handbook is based on the research agenda from a series of interdisciplinary colloquia funded by the US National Science Foundation and published in the Journal of Engineering Education in October 2006.
