Wir sind nämlich hier zuerst auf den Stand punkt gelangt, mit der Erfahrung nachweisen zu konnen, inwieferne dasselbe nun bei seiner neuen Einrichtung und Erweiterung seinem Zwecke zu ge nügen im Stande seye. Wir haben gefunden, dass der jetzige räumliche Umfang desselben zur Auf nahme einer angemessenen Anzahl von original-ah handlungen und aller Anzeigen und Auszüge von nur einiger Maasen bedeutenden Schriften und Auf sätzen aus den einschlagenden Fächern vollkommen hinreiche. Nichts, das uns im Laufe dieses Jahres vorgekommen, ist unausgezogen zurückgelegt wor den, mit Ausnahme einiger wenigen geognostischen Abhandlungen und verschiedener uns unmgänglich gewesener selbstständigen Werke, die sich aber gleichwohl wenigstens angezeigt finden. Erstere werden dann auch im kunftigen Jahre grösstenitheils nachgetragen werden, da an die Stelle von ihnenim jetzigen Jahrgange einige ältere, wegen Mangels an Raum früher zurückgelegte, gleichwohl bedeu tendere Auszüge aus denseit Beginn des "jahrbu ehes 'verflossenen Jahren aufgenommen worden sind. Die Leser erhalten mithin in demselben eine in allem Wesentlichen vollständige Übersicht der literarischen Erzeugnisse in diesen Fächern seit 1 830, und Werden solche auch in Zukunft, und zwar oh ne fernere Verwätungcn, fortlaufend erhalten. Ein Blick auf das nachfolgende Register wird sie von dem ausserordentlichen Rciehthnme der zu Auszugen benutzten Schriften, wie der gelieferten Auszüge selbst, ein Blick in das Buch von der Vollständig keit überzeugen, in welcher man meistens dieewe sentlichen Resultate jeder einzelnen Abhandlun'g wiederzugeben bemüht gewesen ist.
