"We do not well: this day is a day of good tidings, and we hold our peace: now therefore come, that we may go and tell the king's household." The idea became more vivid, till by degrees conscience was enlisted in the cause, and the result is, that to the household of Our King this little work is humbly and affectionately offered. The mixed character of the subjects may require some apology.
