Download or read book Merlin's War written by Margaret Doner and published by iUniverse. This book was released on 2012-04-17 with total page 180 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Merlin’s War: The Battle between the Family of Light and the Family of Dark examines the fact that the history of the human race has been manipulated by a being so clever that we have had no idea he exists. In fact, he has hidden behind Lucifer—but Lucifer is not our devil. Much of what has been told to the human race has been designed to keep the truth at bay. Whose purpose did it serve to keep the human race unaware of its own origins and ignoring huge pieces of obvious evidence because there is no logical explanation for it? It certainly did not serve the human race. Merlin is thought of by most humans as a simple embodiment of the wizard. Merlin’s War reveals that he is much more; he is a powerful Creator God who is responsible for creating the human template and seeding life on the Earth. Moreover, Dracula is thought of as a fictional vampire, when he is, in fact, the being we call Satan, responsible for creating war and chaos on Earth and in other galaxies. There are two points of view to this story, and in order to be fair author Margaret Doner has agreed to tell both sides. Merlin’s War posits that it is time for the playing field to be evened out. The Family of Dark has been in control for too long; it’s time for the Family of Light to move beyond the fear that has kept them enslaved.

Book Synopsis The Book of Merlin by : Margaret Doner
Download or read book The Book of Merlin written by Margaret Doner and published by iUniverse. This book was released on 2021-11-23 with total page 135 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The Book of Merlin continues the epic saga of the battle between good and evil first begun in Doner’s book, Merlin’s War: The Battle between the Family of Light and the Family of Dark. From the origin of the angels, to the creation of the dragon race, to the humans Atum and Eve in paradise, and the fall of Atlantis, Merlin illuminates these stories and places them into a comprehensible framework. For the first time, Merlin explains the origins of the demonic race through the fallen angel Lilith, and how darkness re-entered the Earth after the Great Flood. Merlin also talks about his “boots on the ground” incarnations, and how his energy has been sent through various human beings to assist in the uplifting of the human race. Present-day dilemmas and the options for solving the myriad of problems facing humanity are also explored. And finally, a look at the future potential possibilities for both the Earth and humanity are considered. As always, Merlin empowers the reader to think for themselves, and to consider their impact on others and Mother Earth as mastery requires self-reflection.

Download or read book Merlin written by Stephen Knight and published by Cornell University Press. This book was released on 2018-10-18 with total page 296 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Merlin, the wizard of Arthurian legend, has been a source of enduring fascination for centuries. In this authoritative, entertaining, and generously illustrated book, Stephen Knight traces the myth of Merlin back to its earliest roots in the early Welsh figure of Myrddin. He then follows Merlin as he is imagined and reimagined through centuries of literature and art, beginning with Geoffrey of Monmouth, whose immensely popular History of the Kings of Britain (1138) transmitted the story of Merlin to Europe at large. He covers French and German as well as Anglophone elements of the myth and brings the story up to the present with discussions of a globalized Merlin who finds his way into popular literature, film, television, and New Age philosophy. Knight argues that Merlin in all his guises represents a conflict basic to Western societies-the clash between knowledge and power. While the Merlin story varies over time, the underlying structural tension remains the same whether it takes the form of bard versus lord, magician versus monarch, scientist versus capitalist, or academic versus politician. As Knight sees it, Merlin embodies the contentious duality inherent to organized societies. In tracing the applied meanings of knowledge in a range of social contexts, Knight reveals the four main stages of the Merlin myth: Wisdom (early Celtic British), Advice (medieval European), Cleverness (early modern English), and Education (worldwide since the nineteenth century). If a wizard can be captured within the pages of a book, Knight has accomplished the feat.

Book Synopsis Magic in Merlin's Realm by : Francis Young
Download or read book Magic in Merlin's Realm written by Francis Young and published by Cambridge University Press. This book was released on 2022-03-03 with total page 407 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Belief in magic was, until relatively recent times, widespread in Britain; yet the impact of such belief on determinative political events has frequently been overlooked. In his wide-ranging new book, Francis Young explores the role of occult traditions in the history of the island of Great Britain: Merlin's realm. He argues that while the great magus and artificer invented by Geoffrey of Monmouth was a powerful model for a succession of actual royal magical advisers (including Roger Bacon and John Dee), monarchs nevertheless often lived in fear of hostile sorcery while at other times they even attempted magic themselves. Successive governments were simultaneously fascinated by astrology and alchemy, yet also deeply wary of the possibility of treasonous spellcraft. Whether deployed in warfare, rebellion or propaganda, occult traditions were of central importance to British history and, as the author reveals, these dark arts of magic and politics remain entangled to this day.
