In Praxisphasen einphasiger und zweiphasiger Ausbildungsmodelle soll der Professionalisierungsprozess durch eine Stärkung der von Mentorinnen und Mentoren angeleiteten Reflexion, die als wichtiger Mediator zwischen Wissen und Können angenommen wird, verbessert werden. Dieser Band versammelt professionalisierungstheoretisch-konzeptionelle sowie empirische Beiträge des zweiten internationalen Kongresses der Gesellschaft für Schulpraktische Professionalisierung (IGSP), der im März 2017 an der Ruhr-Universität Bochum stattfand. Länderübergreifend liegen unterschiedliche Praxiskonzepte vor, in denen Mentoring und Coaching verschiedene Funktionen einnehmen. Dies ist Anlass genug, den dritten Band der IGSP-Reihe schwerpunktmäßig diesem Thema zu widmen.
