La première partie de cette thèse sera consacrée aux 3 types majeurs de médecines traditionnelles dans le monde soit la Médecine Traditionnelle Chinoise, l'Ayurveda, et l'Unani. La deuxième partie, exposera les différentes stratégies et plans d'action mis en place par l'OMS pour la médecine traditionnelle au cours de cette dernière décennie. Et afin d'illustrer et d'avoir une vision plus concrète de l'impact de ces stratégies, la dernière partie traitera des enjeux et mesures établis par les différents pays en vue d'intégrer au mieux la MT dans leurs systèmes de soins de santé.
