They find [Beta](B[sup 0] [yields] K*[sup 0][gamma]) = (3.92 [+-] 0.20(stat.) [+-] 0.24(syst.)) x 10[sup -5], [Beta] (B[sup +] [yields] K*[sup +][gamma]) = (3.87 [+-] 0.28(stat.) [+-] 0.26(syst.)) x 10[sup -5]. The measurements also constrain the direct CP asymmetry to be -0.074

The first error quoted is statistical and the second systematic.

Book excerpt: We present a measurement of the branching fraction and photon energy spectrum for the decay B → X{sub s}[gamma] using data from the BABAR experiment. The data sample corresponds to an integrated luminosity of 210 fb−1, from which approximately 680,000 B{bar B} events are tagged by a fully reconstructed hadronic decay of one of the B mesons. In the decay of the second B meson, an isolated high-energy photon is identified. We measure [Beta](B → X{sub s}[gamma]) = (3.66 ± 0.85{sub stat} ± 0.60{sub syst}) x 10−4 for photon energies E{sub {gamma}} above 1.9 GeV in the B rest frame. From the measured spectrum we calculate the first and second moments for different minimum photon energies, which are used to extract the heavy-quark parameters m{sub b} and [mu]{sub {pi}}2. In addition, measurements of the direct CP asymmetry and isospin asymmetry are presented.

They find S{sub??} = -0.68 ± 0.10 ± 0.03, C{sub??} = -0.25 ± 0.08 ± 0.02,?{sub K{sub?}} = -0.107 ± 0.016{sub -0.004}, {sup +0.006}, C{sub?°?°} = -0.43 ± 0.26 ± 0.05,?(B° →?°?°) = (1.83 ± 0.21 ± 0.13) x 10−6,?(B° → K°?°) = (10.1 ± 0.6 ± 0.4) x 10−6, where the first error is statistical and the second is systematic. They observe CP violation with a significance of 6.7? in B° → {pi}− and 6.1? in B° → K+{pi}−. Constraints on the Unitarity Triangle angle? are determined from the isospin relation between all B → {pi}{pi} rates and asymmetries.

The used data sample has been recorded at the Y(4S) resonance with the BABAR detector at the asymmetric electron-positron- collider PEP-II of the Stanford Linear Accelerator Center (SLAC) in California. The B->K*gamma branching fractions are measured in four K*-decay modes. A search for direct CP-violation in the B->K*gamma mode has also been carried out.
