Il regroupe l'ensemble des cancers affectant la cavité buccale, le larynx, le pharynx mais aussi la cavité nasale et les sinus paranasaux. Les cancers de la cavité buccale représentent 25% des cancers des VADS et possèdent de nombreuses étiologies. Le tabac et l'alcool sont des facteurs de risque majeur à leur développement. Notre travail a donc consisté en une revue de la littérature en ce qui concerne les traitements en vigueur pour traiter les différents cancers oro-faciaux affectant, en partie ou totalité, les maxillaires supérieures. Nous avons étudié les différentes méthodes proposées dans le comblement des pertes de substances afin de conserver les fonctions et réhabiliter l'esthétique des patients. Ces méthodes peuvent être de nature prothétique ou chirurgicale. Enfin nous avons comparé la qualité de vie des patients selon la dimension de la perte de substance, le choix du traitement et du type de réhabilitation.
