Appendices include 1) a brief history of St. Philomena and how its name changed into St. Cecilia of Rome and how the church is used and named as of 2011; 2) a page of tips to read handwriting if you decide to look at the original records which are available online thru FamilySearch; 3) a discussion of marriage impediments in the Catholic Church and the requirements to overcome some of them; 4) a web article about the appearance and translation of given names from Latin to English; and 5) a newspaper article from 1903 describing the death of a father and son from a lightning strike.
