Christians are required to live life aware of two realities. The first is in the tangible world where people live and work, and which God created and He told us to "tend to" (Genesis 2:15). The second is the spiritual world with its eternal perspective. In one economy, we seek to pursue God's call to "work it and take care of it (His Creation)" through our daily work with excellence and integrity in a world where we do not always see eye to eye with our colleagues and bosses. In the other economy, we seek to respond to Christ's lordship over all our lives, including workplace, family, community and church (Colossians 3:23). We often experience times when our personal faith clashes with the demands of our jobs and our roles in the public arena.
