A produção e a interpretação apesar de comummente estudadas separadas estão interligadas posto que um bom produtor de textos também é um bom interpretador pois torna-se mais fácil colocar-se no lugar do autor para colher acertadamente a interpretação adequada. Assim o livro as trata como duas partes de um todo. Contém 11 textos de minha autoria em que busco exemplificar algumas das classes de texto que encontrareis na vida. Em um primeiro momento apresento apenas os textos para a leitura e depois os reapresento tecendo comentários bem como fazendo uso de questões. O livro inclui a resolução de tais questões para melhor aprendizado. Tanto os textos quanto os comentários, questões e suas resoluções foram por mim criados. Alguns textos apresentam personagens de meus livros, outros apresentam reflexões... Assim, como os textos são elaborados por mim, apresentam conteúdo ficcional devendo-se para fins de estudo considerar a estrutura e o modo de organização dos textos. Em outras palavras deve-se considerar os textos reais dentro dos respectivos universos ficcionais. Aprendendo a produzir e interpretar com os textos ficcionais vós conseguireis interpretar e construir textos da realidade afinal a estrutura é semelhante apenas mudando o conteúdo. Há uma breve explicação acerca dos tipos textuais: Narrativo, Descritivo, Expositivo, Argumentativo e Instrutivo. A ordem em que o livro apresenta 11 textos é a seguinte: Texto 1 (Narrativo), Texto 2 (Descritivo), Texto 3 (Expositivo), Texto 4 (Argumentativo), Texto 5 (Notícia), Texto 6 (Intertextualidade), Texto 7 (Poesia), Texto 8 (Diário), Texto 9 (Instrutivo), Texto 10 (Publicitário), Texto 11 (Depoimento).
