What are the meanings of diseases, illnesses, accidents, and natural disasters? From his clairvoyant spiritual research, Rudolf Steiner speaks of karma, or destiny, as a reality -- an actual scientific phenomenon that can and should be understood today. He shows how, through a comprehension of karma, a person can begin to answer the inevitable questions that arise when they begin seriously to seek the meaning and purpose of life.

This book was released on 1995 with total page 60 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In this inspiring lecture addressed to the anthroposophical movement, Prokofieff explains that true modern Christian research into karma does not arise out of intellectual speculation, curiosity, or nebulous mystical experiences. The process of karmic research based on spiritual science leads to a fundamental transformation of our human nature, enabling us to fully experience the cosmos in which we exist. Giving an overview of how the spiritual hierarchies and Christ, the Lord of Karma, work in the ordering of human karma, Prokofieff leads us to the karma and mission of the Anthroposophical Society, indicating what must come about -- before the end of the century -- if this karmic mission is to be fulfilled.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This essay is a summary of the key points of authentic spiritual practice, which are presented in detail in the book «Dharma - The Way Things Are. Real Experiences and Realizations of a Spiritual Practitioner» (© V. Sychevskiy, 2022, © AEGITAS Publishing House, 2022). Unfortunately, nowadays it is very often believed that «going into the astral» is a spiritual practice. This is a very dangerous misconception. To put it briefly, the Lower Astral World are the images of our worldly desires. Therefore, a simple «going into the Astral» outside the context of proper spiritual practice are nothing but horrifying visions of Hell, the Animal World, and the World of Hungry Spirits in the Lower Astral World and, accordingly, a serious blow to the psyche. However, if you read the original Buddhist or yogic sutras, you will not find in their descriptions anything about «entering the Astral», «contact with astral entities», «connection to the streams of energy» and further immersion in pitch darkness. Because true spiritual practice based on the True Dharma, which was given to the world by the Great Teachers of the past, is completely opposite to the nonsense and lies broadcast by the urban crazies. They think they are masters of meditation, because they practice under the influence of drugs. Their practice is often only technical and in instead of immersing themselves in the Practices of Goodness, Merit, Law, and Tranquility they engage in religious activities to satisfy their egoism and wealth. In meditation, only the data that we have accumulated will manifest. Therefore, what we experience after we sit down to meditate is very important. Further, when the data manifests, we completely stop its action through concentration and Contemplation. But what happens if from the very beginning we do not change the initial data and do not master Calmness and Contemplation? For example, although meditation has become very fashionable, hasn't the world been getting worse and worse? The fact is that if you do not change the initial data with the help of preliminary practices, then it will remain at the level of the lower worlds, full of worldly desires and, accordingly, suffering. Moreover, if the internal data is of a low level, and there is no ability to stop the action of this outgoing data, then no matter how much you meditate, you will not get better from this. Nevertheless, ordinary people, trying to «be in the trend», sit and think: «I meditate». But there is no point in sitting in your pants. The meaning will come only when we persistently change the data of our Five Aggregates, controlling the actions of the body, speech and thoughts based on the True Dharma fixed in memory.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: There is a relation between karma and money, between the life you have and the one you should be having.Knowledge is never as important as awareness and, along the way of knowing how both concepts relate, we're brought forth towards our own need for enlightenment. This is what is here proposed, a study of our own conscience, in order to understand how we create and repeat our karmic manifestations, while seeing how they can be changed in order to manifest a completely new life and outcome, one in which there is more love, health and abundance.Conscience is what allows enlightenment, and such state or, at least, potential, becomes crucial as a tool to manifest our desires. There's not much that an undiscerning mind can see, and yet, for the one that is spiritually blind, not much can be accomplished. Most of what we perceive as being far from our reality, in a long distant future, is already presenting itself in front of us, in the form of those that have the wisdom we need. We merely need to recognize them, identify them and acknowledge their role in our existence, reason why karma shows itself correlated to wisdom. One cannot exist without the other.Knowing this is allowing ourselves the gift of opportunity to be happy and see how we've been missing the many blessings that life has always been offering. We can learn to apply the spiritual laws to make them work in our favor and this is the path towards such amazing and very rare achievement.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: During 1924, before his last address in September, Rudolf Steiner gave over eighty lectures on the subject of karma to members of the Anthroposophical Society. These profoundly esoteric commentaries examine the underlying laws of reincarnation and karma, and explore in detail the incarnations of specific historical figures. In Rudolf Steiner’s words, the study of karma is ‘... a matter of penetrating into the most profound mysteries of existence, for within the sphere of karma and the course it takes lie those processes which are the basis of the other phenomena of world existence...’ In this eighth and final volume of the series, Rudolf Steiner offers insights on a variety of subjects, including Cosmic Christianity, the Michael impulse, the Arthur and Grail streams of wisdom, as well as the individualities of Gregory VII, Haeckel, Swedenborg, Loyola, Haroun al Raschid, Byron, Voltaire and others.

Book excerpt: 5 lectures, Berlin and Stuttgart, January-March 1912 (CW 135) "Just as an age was once ready to receive the Copernican theory of the universe, so is our own age ready for the ideas of reincarnation and karma to be brought into the general consciousness of humanity." --Rudolf Steiner Steiner introduced the West to his detailed, scientific knowledge of reincarnation and karma. He gave concrete descriptions of the way individuals transform during the course of successive incarnations and specific examples of how karma works. Steiner also provides practical exercises that lead us to experience the reality of reincarnation. He believed that by experiencing the reality of successive earth lives, we can form a foundation for a spiritual understanding of the relationship between humankind and the cosmos. These talks contain some of Steiner's most important teachings on reincarnation and karma. His examples and exercises can lead us to direct knowledge of the laws of reincarnation and karma. Topics include: How to perceive directly the part of our being that passes through many lives on earth; How to develop a "feeling memory," which we need before we are able to experience reincarnation; Thought exercises for gaining knowledge of reincarnation and karma; Examples of how karma works between incarnations; How knowledge of reincarnation and karma affects our moral life. This volume is a translation from German of Wiederverk rperung und Karma und ihre Bedeutung f r die Kultur der Gegenwart.
