The person in the "Lost" top section of the cover is me when I was 20 years old. Although I looked like I belonged in jail, I really wasn't nearly that bad, but in God's eyes, I was still a lost sinner who needed to have his sins forgiven. Little did I know that over 25 years later I would be one of those Christians that, at the time of this picture and later, I thought were so weird and hypocritical. The person in the bottom cover "Saved" section is me when I was 45 years old. I had been born again for about one month and this is the photo taken for my church directory. I looked like I had the weight of the world taken off my shoulders, and spiritually, I really did! This book would be valuable as a Bible study, particularly for newer Christians who need to be further grounded in the faith, and also for non-believes who need a clear gospel presentation.
