Download or read book A Guide to Longevity Foods, Diets, and Supplements written by Martin K. Ettington and published by Martin K. Ettington. This book was released on with total page 173 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: There is great interest out there in what people can do to improve their longevity. I’ve been writing books about longevity for fourteen years and I realized there was one topic I had not really covered in detail. That topic is what are the foods and supplements we can take which will help make us healthy enough to lengthen our lives. Improving individual longevity is not just about foods and supplements. There are a lot of factors which all affect longevity so I have a chapter here which talks about my work “The 10 Principles of Personal Longevity” which covers those issues in more detail. In addition there are some specific physical issues like telomeres, inflammation, and oxidative stress which also affect chronic diseases and therefore longevity and these are discussed in detail. I also think it is pertinent to see what long lived communities eat so I’ve copied some of the key data and conclusions from my book on four long lived communities around the world to see what their diets are. Some recipes of their traditional foods are also included. Foods and supplements which have been known from historical times and today are discussed in detail for you to learn what the wisdom of the ages and science knows about the correct foods and supplements to eat. After reading this book you will have new ideas about the food, diets, and supplements you can eat to help you live a much longer and healthier life.

Book Synopsis Use Intuition and Prophecy to Improve Your Life-By An Adept by : Martin K. Ettington
Download or read book Use Intuition and Prophecy to Improve Your Life-By An Adept written by Martin K. Ettington and published by Martin K. Ettington. This book was released on with total page 122 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Welcome to this book about intuition and prophecy. My first book on the Topic was over ten years ago and is titled “Prophecy: A History and How to Guide”. That one was a general overview of the topic. This book is much more focused on how intuition and prophecy skills can be used to improve your life. So what are intuition and prophecy and why are they important? These two things are spiritual abilities which we all have and which allow us to see outside of the present. Like athletes some of us have more natural abilities than others. However, we can train and exercise our abilities to improve our lives. Prophecy is a more advanced form of intuition and has been used throughout history. Intuition is more about being immediately aware of what or who is around us while Prophecy is focused specifically on the future. While intuition is more immediate it too can be very useful. In fact all spiritual abilities can help or hinder our lives. This is true of any physical or mental abilities. I’ve also included a lot of information on the history of prophecy and research into the paranormal to show that people have been aware of these subjects throughout history and in modern times they have been researched by scientists. Lastly, I want to say that like learning anything new there are things to watch out for, but like all things we do there are risks and rewards. Hoping you enjoy this material and the stories related here.

Book Synopsis How to Survive Anything: From the Wilderness to Man Made Disasters by : Martin K. Ettington
Download or read book How to Survive Anything: From the Wilderness to Man Made Disasters written by Martin K. Ettington and published by Martin K. Ettington. This book was released on with total page 247 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: I recently wrote a book titled “33 Incredible Real Life Survival Stories” which caused me to be amazed at how people have the persistence to live when confronted by dangerous and deadly situations. I’m an old student of survival. First in my experiences with the Boy Scouts, and then my experiences as an adult backpacker and general sports activities. There are other books out there by Special Forces operators and they prescribe lots of useful information. In this book I’ve included a lot of that type of survival information, but I also wanted to take a little different approach. The Boy Scouts have been part of my life since I was a kid. I was a Cub Scout, a Boy Scout. A scouting Eagle Scout, and later Scoutmaster, and Assistant Scoutmaster. Later on I also became a member of the Knoxville, Tennessee Volunteer Rescue Squad, and a Private Pilot among many other things. There is something to be said about the gradual acquiring of knowledge about survival and how it applies to how we live our lives. So I’ve taken that approach in this book—starting with morals, principles, and the spiritual aspects of survival, to the practical knowledge, and then how that information can be generalized to most situations. You can also bet that most military survival experts, Seals, and other Special Forces were probably Boy Scouts growing up too. Most of them got their basis for survival skills and leadership skills in the Boy Scouts. The Scout Motto is “Be Prepared” and planning ahead is essential for surviving unexpected situations. Therefore, in this book we will give you a lot of lists of things you should get as emergency supplies and what skills to know to survive. The things you will learn about in this book are much of what we learned in the Scouts but we will be taking a deeper cut into the details.
Book Synopsis Infinity and our Unbounded Universe by : Martin K. Ettington
Download or read book Infinity and our Unbounded Universe written by Martin K. Ettington and published by Martin K. Ettington. This book was released on with total page 74 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The concept of Infinity has been around since the ancients and it has many practical applications in mathematics like Calculus. Infinity is also important in Fractals which are a graphical algorithm which is used in many computer graphics applications today and which has infinite depth. It is also applicable to our Universe since the standard concept we are taught about the Big Bang as the beginning of the Universe may be wrong. Modern evidence is showing us contradictions which say that we live in a Universe which is steady state and might even be infinite in size. The Universe doesn’t have a creation date we can be sure of. We don’t really know if it is infinite in size but the Universe is certainly much larger and older than our best scientific instruments can measure. This book is an exploration of Infinity and new understandings of our Universe which have come to light in recent decades.
Book Synopsis All About Mars Journeys and Settlement by : Martin K. Ettington
Download or read book All About Mars Journeys and Settlement written by Martin K. Ettington and published by Martin K. Ettington. This book was released on with total page 271 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This is a 2022 revised version of the book first published in 2020. A lot of new information has become available since then. A manned mission to Mars has been the dream of humanity at least since the nineteenth century when we first saw details of the surface and thought there might be canals filled with water there. Here I’ve looked at the history of unmanned exploration of Mars over the last fifty plus years, proposed missions to Mars, Mars Settlements, and other major issues regarding traveling to and living on Mars. Some proposals have lots of details of proposed scenarios if you want to read all of the engineering and scientific analysis work. I grew up in the 1960s when every kid in America was fascinated with the Space program and the Astronauts. I also watched not only the Apollo 11 moon landing, but all of the successive trips to the Moon and exploration of the surface. This may be a lot of the reason I became and Engineer, worked as NASA in Houston for several years, and applied to the Astronaut Program myself. There are some probes which reported life on Mars and then other scientists questioned the results. We are still sending unmanned probes today to try to answer those questions.
Book Synopsis Memories Before Birth and Reincarnation by : Martin K. Ettington
Download or read book Memories Before Birth and Reincarnation written by Martin K. Ettington and published by Martin K. Ettington. This book was released on with total page 94 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: I think I must be one of those persons who has been reincarnated. I never considered myself to be such a person but always had memories from before my birth, in my Mom’s womb, and my early childhood. One of my earliest memories was of being disembodied, looking down on the Earth, and recalling my many previous incarnations on Earth. My story is included in this book as well as many other stories of people who have reported remembering from before their birth. This is all closely related to the topic of Reincarnation and so this book covers that topic too. The history of Reincarnation, research on the topic, and many stories of claims people have about being reincarnated are in this book. The belief in reincarnation has been around for thousands of years so this subject is not new. What I’m trying to do in this book is provide as many credible stories as I can to provide the reader with more information to form your own opinion on this subject. Also, some of the possible reasons for reincarnation are covered here too.
Book Synopsis The Suppression of Truth in the United States and the World by : Martin K. Ettington
Download or read book The Suppression of Truth in the United States and the World written by Martin K. Ettington and published by Martin K. Ettington. This book was released on with total page 159 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In today’s world we live in a culture of truth suppression. This is true in representative democracies like the United States as well as full totalitarian dictatorships like Communist China. This book covers many areas of major lies like Global Warming, perverted doctrines taught in schools, Politics, News Suppression, Communist China, limitations in Spirituality, deficit spending, and problems with globalism. There are many different types of truth suppression and as much as we would like to think that we live in an advanced culture and world, this effort by different entities to suppress truth affects our lives negatively in many ways. The most direct effect is that we live in fear of the future of our world which is a big lie. This suppression also keeps us from fully realizing our spiritual natures and that we do have the ability to accomplish amazing things when we live with full honesty in our lives. I believe that individuals are closest to a state of happiness when they live their lives in truth. (See my book “A New Paradigm of Truth and Happiness” for more information.) There are actions we can take to correct this situation but they are mass actions which need many persons involved to have a real effect. A list of these actions are given later in this book.
Book Synopsis God Like Powers and Abilities by : Martin K. Ettington
Download or read book God Like Powers and Abilities written by Martin K. Ettington and published by Martin K. Ettington. This book was released on with total page 207 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: What are God Like Powers & Abilities? These are the abilities of the human spirit which are supposed to be impossible, but which really exist. The abilities and powers reviewed in this book include Telepathy, Psychokinesis, Levitation, Invisibility, Invulnerability, Teleportation, Creating your future, Prophecy, Omniscience, and much more. Why a book on this subject? I’ve read about these abilities over the years in many different books and articles (as well as my own experiences) and thought that others might want to learn about them in one organized encyclopedia of the subject. Why is this book worthwhile? This book will help the reader understand what is the basis for these powers before going into a full review of each one. Like most of my books, I take the reader through some background material before I get into the meat of the subject. In this case we start by reviewing the original source of God Like abilities “The Yoga Sutras of Patanjali”, and how these abilities and powers work. Then I provide an introduction to meditation and stillness practices, and how they help the seeker to get in touch with their own spirit After that we proceed into a discussion of the vital forces or “prana”, the energy body and what that energy is used for. What will I learn about these Powers and Abilities? In each of the chapters on individual powers and abilities I start by explaining what the ability is and how it has been used in the past. Then some historical and/or modern documented experiences of the ability or power is given. Finally, I provide exercises and practices to learn these abilities for yourself. I’m not going to claim that anyone can learn these abilities and powers right away, but a clear path is provided on how to get there. Reference materials to other books and sources which can help you learn more are also provided. This includes links in the electronic versions of the book and a detailed bibliography or sources.

Book Synopsis The Commentaries of Living Immortals by : Martin K. Ettington
Download or read book The Commentaries of Living Immortals written by Martin K. Ettington and published by Martin K. Ettington. This book was released on with total page 193 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This is a book about living immortals in their own words. People who are hundreds if not thousands of years old and living in our world today. Their commentaries come from a discussion board I have been using for a couple of years to market my earlier book: Physical Immortality: A History and How to Guide There are over twelve distinct immortal personalities who posted on this board and they all have different perspectives on their lives as immortals. One of the main characters on the site said this about the immortals: “I have met over 170 other immortals dating from 20,000 years old to 110 years old, from around Earth. Gods are in another league. I have met 15 Gods/Godesses …. most are norce/celtic Gods.” “There is at least 2000 of us out of your 7billion humans doing the exact same as me ie jobs/names some still hide in mountans and forests.” Do I believe all of this? I do have some skepticism, but even if it’s not true it is a great story. If true—it is one of the greatest revelations of all time
Book Synopsis Stories of Parallel Dimensions by : Martin K. Ettington
Download or read book Stories of Parallel Dimensions written by Martin K. Ettington and published by Martin K. Ettington. This book was released on with total page 111 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: I’ve written a lot of books about the paranormal, spiritual, time travel and weird phenomena. My interest is in writing about what is the truth regarding these things which people report and I am not influenced by conventional beliefs. What I look for is the number of stories on a particular subject and are these stories consistent. As an engineer and having studied a lot of physics I know that conventional science has theorized about parallel dimensions but has not any evidence or theories of persons moving between dimensions. In this book my focus is on reviewing reputable stories to see if there is a pattern in what people report to see if interdimensional travel has really happened to them. I’ve studied a lot of strange subjects and more often than not there are basic truths in the things people report. Many of the stories in this book come from the Reddit Sub Reddit on Parallel Dimensions. I’ve selected those stories which seems like the best examples of parallel dimension activities.
Book Synopsis The Fear of Failure by : Martin K. Ettington
Download or read book The Fear of Failure written by Martin K. Ettington and published by Martin K. Ettington. This book was released on with total page 70 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In our modern society there are lots of pressures to succeed. Whatever that means. Most of us absorb the idea that we need to succeed in life and thus they have the corollary fear of failure. One of my favorite movies is “The Razor’s Edge” with Tyrone Powell. It is the story of a young man in the 1920s who has the opportunity to make it big in conventional jobs but he isn’t interested. Instead he follows an alternative path which leads him to India where he seeks enlightenment. His friends who followed the conventional career path experienced terrible lives when most of them were wiped out in the great depression. Even one who made it big financially was mainly interested in earthly status which doesn’t’ make a difference in the long run. My point is that we need to be thoughtful about how we envision the future of our lives so we live life with meaning and don’t have unrealistic expectations. Thinking about life this way is the first way to avoid having a fear of failure. In this book we review the reasons people have fears of failure, persons who changed failure into success, and how to modify our lives to change our fears of failure into a path for success and happiness.
Book Synopsis The Spiritual Enlightenment of an Engineer by : Martin K. Ettington
Download or read book The Spiritual Enlightenment of an Engineer written by Martin K. Ettington and published by Martin K. Ettington. This book was released on with total page 84 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: I’ve written quite a few books about spirituality and my experiences and beliefs in our abilities to expand our consciousness through spiritual development practices, meditation, and the paranormal. This book includes my experiences with paranormal abilities acquired from the spiritual development process and different enlightenment experiences. Having been raised in a technical family and gone to engineering school my perspective is pretty unique since I developed both traditional technical knowledge of the world while I was also going through the spiritual development and enlightenment process. There are many engineers and scientists who are also religious but I’ve found that technical people who are as deeply into spiritual enlightenment practices and paranormal experiences are pretty rare. What I’ve found is that this dual background has given me more clarity about the world we live in and better objectivity in many cases regarding strange or unusual phenomena. The theme of this book is to review how I went through this dual track system of learning in my life to become both a traditional engineer and to have fairly adept knowledge of spiritual and paranormal experiences.
Book Synopsis A 300 Million Year Old Civilization Existed on Earth by : Martin K. Ettington
Download or read book A 300 Million Year Old Civilization Existed on Earth written by Martin K. Ettington and published by Martin K. Ettington. This book was released on with total page 105 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The thesis of this book is that there was a civilization of intelligent beings existing on Earth over 300 million years ago. I previously collected information to write two books on out of place artifacts (OOPAs) and a book on Giants which evidence shows lived on this Earth millions of years ago. While writing my book titled “The History of Intelligent Life On Earth from Millions of Years Ago Till Present” and generating a timeline on ancient OOPAs found around the Earth, I found an interesting pattern. It turns out that a large number of these objects were from around 300 million years ago mostly in coal mines and seams. All of these objects from the same time period provide good circumstantial evidence that a worldwide civilization existed at that time. Given the millions of years which have elapsed since then we are lucky to find even the few OOPAs we have records of which were preserved in coal and rock. In this book I put together the evidence and do my best to answer questions like: What did the world look like then? What were the attributes and culture of this society? What types of beings were part of this civilization? And other relevant questions. It may be hard to believe that intelligent life existed back then but we need to be objective to follow where the evidence takes us.
