Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: "Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and forever" (Heb. 13:8). God is still using people, just as he did in the Bible. Those stories were put there for us to see how God can take a nobody and turn them into a somebody without asking anybody. We are all connected with a silver cord (Eccles. 12:6-7). This is not a puppet string. Because God loves us so much, he will not come against our choice. We have the lifeline to communicate with him and to hear his voice: "My sheep listen to my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. And I give eternal life to them, and they will never perish; and no one will snatch them out of My hand. My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father's hand. I and the Father are one" (John 10:27-30). I hope to open the eyes of all to show them how special they are to God and to do his will. For as long as they have breath, they have a choice.

Book excerpt: A compassionate, shame-free guide for your darkest days “A one-of-a-kind book . . . to read for yourself or give to a struggling friend or loved one without the fear that depression and suicidal thoughts will be minimized, medicalized or over-spiritualized.”—Kay Warren, cofounder of Saddleback Church What happens when loving Jesus doesn’t cure you of depression, anxiety, or suicidal thoughts? You might be crushed by shame over your mental illness, only to be told by well-meaning Christians to “choose joy” and “pray more.” So you beg God to take away the pain, but nothing eases the ache inside. As darkness lingers and color drains from your world, you’re left wondering if God has abandoned you. You just want a way out. But there’s hope. In I Love Jesus, But I Want to Die, Sarah J. Robinson offers a healthy, practical, and shame-free guide for Christians struggling with mental illness. With unflinching honesty, Sarah shares her story of battling depression and fighting to stay alive despite toxic theology that made her afraid to seek help outside the church. Pairing her own story with scriptural insights, mental health research, and simple practices, Sarah helps you reconnect with the God who is present in our deepest anguish and discover that you are worth everything it takes to get better. Beautifully written and full of hard-won wisdom, I Love Jesus, But I Want to Die offers a path toward a rich, hope-filled life in Christ, even when healing doesn’t look like what you expect.

Book excerpt: Whether you are a long-time lover of the Word of God, hungering for a deeper walk with Christ, or a new Christian and reading the Bible seems overwhelming, Revealed in Ephesians: The Mystery of Who I am in Christ is an exhilarating in-depth, inductive study to reveal the hope of your calling in Christ Jesus. This 12 week study equips women to grow in confidence in prayer, and to read the scriptures through the revelation of the Holy Spirit in 5 days a week personal study. Learn to seek the Lord for personal intimacy through his Spirit, to find spiritual and emotional health in relationships, to overcome obstacles like bitterness, fear and depression through God’s truth, to understand your position in Christ, and to be empowered in spiritual warfare with a study of the armor of God. Each day of study begins by teaching you to personalize Paul’s prayers for the Ephesians. There is a daily focus on committing these prayers — and other key scriptures — to memory. Briana teaches women to use Bible study tools and apps to bring everyday study to life. This is not just a fill in the blank study, but includes commentary and a “bringing it home” challenge for life-changing personal and family application. Revealed in Ephesians can be used as a group study, with free online teachings, or a personal, daily Bible study. Pillai was written on the urging of many of his listeners to put his teachings into book form, “so that more Christians may be encouraged to trust in the Word of God, and believe more deeply through understanding.” He explains in his Introduction that he was unable to put all of his teachings into one book at this time due to time constraints, but with this volume intends to “touch upon some of the portions of the Bible which my listeners tell me have been the most interesting and inspiring.” A wonderful book for any reader who seeks to know and understand the Word of God...

Book excerpt: Throughout Church history, a lack of clear thought has been the chief cause of heresy: wherever indifference to doctrine and theology has arisen, neglect and rejection have soon followed. Christianity today faces a crisis in thinking: there is both an indifference toward, and neglect of, serious thought about Christian doctrine and theology. Instead, personal experience has been given primacy. Thinking Christianity attempts to reverse this popular attitude and forestall the rejection of the Christian gospel that will otherwise inevitably follow. Author Daniel Klassen covers two aspects of thinking in the Christian faith: the necessity for thinking, and the need for proper thinking. Addressing the first aspect, he answers questions such as “Why should Christians think?”, “Is faith reasonable and rational?”, “How do we know God?”, and “How do we know the truth?”. Addressing the second aspect, he explores foundational beliefs for the Christian faith, covering questions such as, “What is salvation?”, “What is sanctification?”, How do we gain assurance?”, and “What does it mean to worship God?”. Throughout the book, he attempts to answer these questions with clarity and truthfulness by expounding Scripture, using historical examples from the Reformation, and exploring philosophical ideas. This clearly reasoned, timely book will help Christians live in assurance and confidence in God—and preserve the gospel for future generations.

Is death the absolute end? These are all unanswered questions. This book will dispel your fears and doubts and cast a light over the darkness of death. Lucidly, with anecdotes, stories and real-life incidents, Dada J.P. Vaswani shows us that death is not to be feared, but it is an aspect of existence that we have to come to terms with. In his inimitable words, we have to “cultivate friendship with death”. Inspiring and comforting this book will give you a profound understanding of the mystery that is death.

Book excerpt: New York Times Bestseller * USA Today Bestseller* Los Angeles Times Bestseller * Publishers Weekly Bestseller A guide to wisdom, authenticity, and bliss for women as they age by the author of Reviving Ophelia. Women growing older contend with ageism, misogyny, and loss. Yet as Mary Pipher shows, most older women are deeply happy and filled with gratitude for the gifts of life. Their struggles help them grow into the authentic, empathetic, and wise people they have always wanted to be. In Women Rowing North, Pipher offers a timely examination of the cultural and developmental issues women face as they age. Drawing on her own experience as daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, caregiver, clinical psychologist, and cultural anthropologist, she explores ways women can cultivate resilient responses to the challenges they face. “If we can keep our wits about us, think clearly, and manage our emotions skillfully,” Pipher writes, “we will experience a joyous time of our lives. If we have planned carefully and packed properly, if we have good maps and guides, the journey can be transcendent.”

The Four Musketeers are aging gracefully and are in overall great health. Their activities and traveling in their motorcoach keeps them going and enjoying true life adventures in the Medieval Society. There we all have grand times with our many friends. We traveled to Ireland and had a wonderful time. We continued to provide Spiritual Seminars and educating the attendees with what we know and that which is given to us. We Four Musketeers went to Alaska during a lovely Spring one year, enjoying it a great deal! Anna turns age seventy, and they have a great party. We went on a Motorcoach tour to Washington State and Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada. It proved to have many challenges and some life changes for the four of us. Most of it is complex. In Book Five, you will read Part II of Volume VI, then Book Six will have Volume VII.
