Les législateurs du travail nationaux n'arrivent plus à contrôler et à gérer convenablement le marché du travail et la concurrence sociale qu'il génère. Le droit de la dignité de l'Homme au travail semble (re)mis en cause. En se penchant sur les causes structurelles de cette évolution, l'auteur propose en toute modestie quelques démarches juridiques et institutionnelles, destinées à sauvegarder l'essentiel du droit de la protection des travailleurs. L'ouvrage est conçu comme un libre propos.
