Les différentes céramiques existantes, les types de piliers, les couronnes et les modes d'assemblage sont détaillés. A l'aide d'une étude de la littérature disponible, des tableaux décisionnels ont été établis pour aider le clinicien dans ses choix. Malgré l'absence de consensus sur l'utilisation des systèmes tout céramique en implantologie prothétique, la zircone est largement décrite dans la littérature et utilisée cliniquement.
