La violence est ainsi omniprésente autant à l’échelon humain qu’à l’échelon des sociétés. Parmi ces visages de la violence, les faits à caractère sexuel semblent occuper une place de plus en plus importante comme en témoignent le nombre de plaintes et de condamnations. Les faits de violence sexuelle suscitent beaucoup d’émotions, elles-mêmes violentes, dans l’opinion publique, mais aussi de l’incompréhension, notamment quand les victimes sont des enfants et des adolescents. L’agression sexuelle est un acte imposé à l’autrui. Elle peut être interprétée comme une véritable pathologie de la relation (à l’autrui), où l’aspect sexuel n’est qu’un moyen, un instrument pour humilier l’autre, le réduire à sa merci, le niant ainsi complètement dans son individualité. Nous avons choisi de nous arrêter sur le cas particulier des violences sexuelles commises par les femmes. Il s’agit d’un phénomène rare, probablement sous-estimé, notamment par la société qui ne voit pas la femme comme un agresseur sexuel potentiel. Les femmes auteures de violences sexuelles font aussi l’objet de peu d’études comme en témoigne la littérature peu abondante comparée aux travaux effectués sur les hommes. Dans une première partie, après avoir défini ce que sont les violences sexuelles et leur classification, nous nous proposons de faire une revue de cette littérature sur les femmes auteurs de violence sexuelle afin de mettre en évidence leurs caractéristiques psychopathologiques et les comparer à celles des hommes auteurs de mêmes actes. Dans une deuxième partie, nous présenterons un cas clinique d’une femme auteur de violence sexuelle sur une victime majeure. Enfin, dans une troisième partie, nous discuterons autour de cette vignette clinique, de ses caractéristiques psychopathologiques afin de dégager des axes de prise en charge.
