Airport sponsors can encounter issues under this grant assurance by limiting access to the airport, directly or indirectly, ranging from adopting express restrictions on particular aeronautical activities to less obvious actions to ensure safety, security, and economic sustainability, such as enforcing airport rules and regulations and negotiating and enforcing lease and rental agreements, airport fees, and local laws.
