En conséquence, l'exode des populations vers les zones urbaines, observé presque partout, va se poursuivre. Afin de tenter d'enrayer cet exode, les programmes de développement rural dans les années 70 ont stimulé la réflexion sur les mécanismes de marketing, non seulement pour leur rôle dans le transfert des produits d'une façon efficace avec le moins de pertes, mais aussi pour leur rôle de support aux petits producteurs (Abbott, J. C. 1987). Dans ce travail de recherche, nous traitons le rôle joué par le marketing agricole en tant que stimulant de la production et levier du développement rural agricole au Liban.
