Book excerpt: Andrew D. Adkins was born March 6th in Ironton, Ohio. He grew up around the Mid-west and spent a majority of his childhood focusing on extracurricular activities. His ambitions as a creative story enthusiast grew as the entertainment industry did through the 90s. After the turn of the millennium his focuses were isolated toward the gaming region more so than all other part of the entertainment industry. After Andrew became a father to two girls and one boy, he decided to pursue his writing career wholeheartedly. Personal life events, outlooks, and environmental circumstances pushed his initial story draft to greater heights than he expected. His passion to become a published author grew stronger as time went on. His first novel, Latrommi, is the final result of his dedication and persistence during the year of 2012. Andrew is seeking to have his first novel converted into a video game for fans to dive into. The illustrations within his first novel are his personal depictions of how the characters within the game would visually appear. Inspired by thousands of hours of game testing and story constructing, his story Latrommi, has been creatively written to provide a strong structure for optimal game play. The sequel to Latrommi has been started and will soon follow in publication. Andrew s eventual goal is to have an entire series of Latrommi books that will fuel a successful game series. While he currently lives Indiana, Andrew plans on moderately traveling to establish a better understanding of the intricacies our world presents on a day-to-day basis.

Book excerpt: When Lord Jabari uses the great sorcerer Xannon to steal one of Damane's sacred crystals, the land of light begins to fall into ruin. Queen Luca must call upon her allies of men, Elements, and Domai to retrieve the crystal before it is too late. However, no one knows where Lord Jabari is hiding the crystal. No one, that is, except a young boy, Bazyli, who followed the sorcerer when he left the city. Now, with Bazyli to guide them, the group must battle against the obstacles Lord Jabari sends their way. However, there is something greater than the survival of Damane in the balance. An ancient prophecy surrounds the warriors, leaving Zale, one among them, having to make the greatest decision of his life: whether or not to take his rightful place as king of all men.

Book excerpt: She is eighty. Facing death, she considers her experiments with narrative, and with the narrative of her life. What is the purpose of the narrative she is creating here, and what the purpose of the life that lives it in the writing? At the centre of Life, End of, in a mock-technical lecture from the Character to the Author, she comes to accept that her experiments in narrative are like life: the narrative creates itself. Christine Brooke-Rose's last novel is a darkly comic exploration of the meanings and non-meanings to which, in the end, life and art lead us.

Book excerpt: Ready to curl up with your next great romance? Can’t get enough of dashing billionaires? Get lost in Ethan’s world and be immersed in action, intrigue, and a love he never expected. “I didn’t know why I did it, why I saved her. I knew she would probably wind up losing her life either way. The problem was, I didn’t think at all. I just reacted.” At an age when most girls have the world at their feet, Olivia Crosley is just trying to survive, bouncing from one borrowed bed to another to find a place to lay her head at night. With all the odds against her and strength beyond her years, she has managed to carve out a section of life she can call her own. Then she meets Ethan Grant. The first time she laid eyes on him, he was a complete mystery, an unlikely hero in a perfectly tailored suit. His stoic demeanor told her to keep her guard up, but there is a reason he saved her, and she needs to find out why. From the moment he pulled her into his car, she became a prize to be hunted. She soon learns that his enemies are fully engaged in the game. Olivia finds herself immersed in guards, guns, and more money than she could ever imagine. Each moment brings its own sense of danger as she struggles to determine whether her heart or life is on the line.
