Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Everything changed for Pradeep K. Berry on February 28, 2015. That was the day his wife of forty-one years, Constance A. “Connie” Berry, died. He’s been mourning ever since, and he seeks to cope with his loss in this tribute to his beloved spouse. In this book he celebrates their love—a love that would have never happened if he hadn’t left India to go to the United States. He only had seven dollars at the time, and he could not have dreamed that he’d meet a beautiful, intelligent, American wife. The author’s family embraced Connie as soon as they realized she was polite, smart, and self-made. In short order, she became the star of the family. Berry lovingly describes Connie’s qualities, character, and ethics as well as her professional career. He observes that even though he’s been in tremendous pain since she died, he would have never had such a long and happy marriage if he and Connie had not loved each other so much. Connie and Pradeep, both consider themselves as two bodies and one soul. Now, Pradeep is hoping that they will be again two bodies and one soul in the next life. Join the author as he shares lessons on enjoying a happy marriage and honors the woman who made his dreams come true. His only hope is to make some difference in other woman’s lives and how their husband can make a difference in their lives.

Download or read book End Time Signs written by Kurt B. Bakley and published by AuthorHouse. This book was released on 2012-07-27 with total page 160 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Will Israel and the U.S. be destroyed or partially destroyed in 2012-2019 or 2026-2030 and beyond and Muslims, Catholics and communism take over most of the world? Were there strange things going around the sun, the moon changing degrees and phases, stars that aren't where there suppose to be and the magnetic poles changing mostly reported secretly in 2001-2011? Did NASA or scientists and astronomers brush the pictures of them away so not to scare people? Did the Bible Code predict strange behavior of the moon in 2011? Will a great tidal wave hit the U.S. East Coast in 2012-2019 and Yellowstone Park super volcano erupt or a comet or asteroid hits the earth or Ocean in 2026-2030 and utterly destroy the entire United States if it still around after the war of 2012-2019? Will the Muslims, communism and Catholics persecute Christians, Americans and Jews all over the world bringing them before Kings and have them sent to prisons and torture and killed if they don't deny Christ and convert to Islam? Will Muslims and people all over the world begin to mock and scoff at Christians and the Bible because Israel and the U.S. are destroyed and no Rapture or end or Second Coming of Christ happened? Several of the Bible prophecies predict God will not make a full end of the U.S., Israel and the world at this time and pockets of people and nations may or may not survive. God may save the U.S., Israel and the world if the people repent and turn from their sins and begin to humble themselves and heed the harbingers. But if they don't then these events may start to happen. This book was written by June 12, 2012.

Book Synopsis End Times to 2019 by : David Montaigne
Download or read book End Times to 2019 written by David Montaigne and published by SCB Distributors. This book was released on 2013-01-09 with total page 285 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Does the end of the Mayan Calendar start the countdown to Judgment Day? Biblical and historical researcher David Montaigne concludes that this is the case. He says that the end of the Mayan Long Count is the official start of the Bible’s seven-year tribulation-both were focused on the same astronomical events that occur from 2012 to 2019. The world as we know it will be gone by 2020. Texts from ancient India tell us about great cycles of destruction. The Egyptians told the same basic story with different names. The Maya reveal another version of the story, and were very clear about the timing of events from December 2012 to 2019. Your average American is no expert on these cultures, but most people do have a Bible at home-and the clearest details on what is about to happen can be found in the Bible, if you don't let someone else tell you which parts you should focus on. No, this isn't what you were taught in Sunday school. Religious leaders guide us between the raindrops of curious comments in the Bible. We are discouraged from focusing on the parts they say we weren't meant to understand. But if we stop glossing over these important passages we will understand a flood of details about the End Times. Our “leaders” are not ignorant of these events. The elite already know what is about to happen and they have made preparations most rational people would not believe, because evidence is suppressed to avoid chaos. They want us to remain ignorant, or at least to believe that the details are secrets that cannot be known. But the coming events (and their timing) are not secrets. Years ago, this book's publication would not have been tolerated by those in power. But by now it doesn't matter much-their plans are not going to be interfered with at this point. Your plans, however, can still be formulated, if you make the choice to understand. Topics include: Bible Prophecy; Matthew 24:36- Knowing the hour and the day; The Mayan Calendar and Mythology; Pole Shifts; Galactic Superwaves; Ancient Egypt; Ancient India; World Mythology; The Georgia Guidestones; The real Star of Bethlehem and the exact birthday of Christ; Calculating the Second Coming, and Judgment Day; more.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: An Instant New York Times Bestseller! A BuzzFeed Best Young Adult Book of 2020 Perfect for fans of The Last Magician and Serpent & Dove, this heart-stopping debut is an imaginative Romeo and Juliet retelling set in 1920s Shanghai, with rival gangs and a monster in the depths of the Huangpu River. The year is 1926, and Shanghai hums to the tune of debauchery. A blood feud between two gangs runs the streets red, leaving the city helpless in the grip of chaos. At the heart of it all is eighteen-year-old Juliette Cai, a former flapper who has returned to assume her role as the proud heir of the Scarlet Gang—a network of criminals far above the law. Their only rivals in power are the White Flowers, who have fought the Scarlets for generations. And behind every move is their heir, Roma Montagov, Juliette’s first love…and first betrayal. But when gangsters on both sides show signs of instability culminating in clawing their own throats out, the people start to whisper. Of a contagion, a madness. Of a monster in the shadows. As the deaths stack up, Juliette and Roma must set their guns—and grudges—aside and work together, for if they can’t stop this mayhem, then there will be no city left for either to rule.
Download or read book We You Me written by Laura Ruth Ellis and published by Balboa Press. This book was released on 2019-11-13 with total page 197 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: After years of caring for her family, author Laura Ruth Ellis finally felt free to pursue a new life purpose. Almost immediately, however, she was pulled back into the role of dutiful daughter when her mother succumbed to dementia. The years she spent as full-time caregiver were stressful and exhausting—but from the fears and challenges came the transformation she had sought all along. In We You Me, Laura recalls from her journal entries the emotional turmoil the caregiver role brought to her and the lessons it taught her. With intimacy and honesty, she recounts the stresses, strains, and shame she endured along the way. As the years went on, a change began; she moved from denying life’s circumstances to accepting life as it comes, eventually gaining an awareness of life’s bigger picture in the process. Her focus shifted from duty to others with love to love of duty to her inner self. Life presented the role she needed to finally find and accept who she most wanted to be and her buried dream was released. This personal narrative presents a journey of acceptance through the realms of caregiving toward true self-knowledge, as one woman’s dream deferred for duty is brought to life.
Book Synopsis The Impending Midnight Cry by : Befekadu Admassu
Download or read book The Impending Midnight Cry written by Befekadu Admassu and published by Christian Faith Publishing, Inc.. This book was released on 2019-12-17 with total page 268 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The world is in great turmoil. Nuclear cataclysm is a real and present danger and the talk of a third world war has become all too common even among the most influential personalities. Political instability is shaking the great nations that once claimed to be bastions of democracy and rule of law. Geopolitical rivalry among the superpowers is ripping apart the institutions that ensured relative peace and stability around the globe for the past several decades. Moral decline is destroying the nuclear family and the fabric of society, particularly in the once-Christian West, as more people abandon faith and traditional family values. Paradoxically we also live in the most technologically advanced age that humanity has ever seen. We have the highest level of material wealth, information and knowledge, governments, global and regional organizations, schools, universities and research centers, hospitals, doctors, and experts in every field of knowledge. We have by far the fastest, efficient, cost-effective and convenient means of communication, travel, production and distribution as well as health care and entertainment than even our most recent progenitors. And yet we are becoming more cruel to each other. Our leaders want to take us somewhere but they themselves do not know the destination. There appears to be a broad realization that the world is not going in the right direction. Many are the calls for change of course and diverse the propositions for direction. Are we humans left to our own devices to extricate ourselves from the quagmire into which we have fallen? Are we condemned to endless failure? Is there a hope for us, as individuals, families, communities, and nations? The Jewish prophets of old who penned the books of the Bible not only foresaw the storms that would billow throughout the many millennia that followed their times but also assured us of a beautiful and lasting final outcome. Their predictions have proved true time and again. The most intriguing promise of the prophets was the coming of the Messiah who will rule the world with truth and righteousness. The Gospels tell us an even more audacious story, that the predictions of the prophets actually came true in the birth of Jesus Christ two thousand years ago. The writers of the New Testament have also penned for us the promises of Jesus of Nazareth, the only Son of God, to come back at the end of the age to establish God's kingdom. Could the turmoil we see today be the very birth pangs that will finally usher in the promised kingdom of God?

Book Synopsis Gender, Definitional Politics and 'Live' Knowledge Production by : Emily F. Henderson
Download or read book Gender, Definitional Politics and 'Live' Knowledge Production written by Emily F. Henderson and published by Routledge. This book was released on 2019-06-17 with total page 220 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Waking up to the reactivity of concepts, to their myriad possibilities for signification, to the range and strength of affective responses they provoke, can happen at any time, in any place. Conceptual contestations shake up the comfortably consolidated foundations of sociological knowledge production, but they also have consequences for the ways in which lives are understood, researched and legislated for. This book is dedicated to exploring the definitional politics which surround the concept of gender in ‘live’ knowledge production. While conferences remain an under-researched phenomenon, this volume places conference knowledge production under the spotlight; conferences, in particular national women’s studies association conferences in the UK, the US and India, are explored as sites where definitional politics play out. The cumulative theorisation of ‘live’ conceptual knowledge production that is developed throughout the book draws on established constructs such as performativity, citationality, intersectionality, materiality and events, but works with them in combination in a new, unique way. The book as a whole calls for more attention to be paid to conceptual knowledge production, so as to make more space for potentially transformative conceptual change.

Book Synopsis The Algorithm of Creation by : Nicholas Hagger
Download or read book The Algorithm of Creation written by Nicholas Hagger and published by John Hunt Publishing. This book was released on 2023-10-27 with total page 291 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: 2023 SMN Book Prize Winner - Significant Contribution to its Field The Algorithm of Creation is the last of Nicholas Hagger’s quartet on the unity of the universe and humankind, and follows The Universe and the Light (1993), The One and the Many (1999) and The New Philosophy of Universalism (2009). It offers an algebraic formula written out for him by Junzaburo Nishiwaki, Japan’s T.S. Eliot, in Tokyo in October 1965, that sums up the wisdom of the East: “+A + –A = 0.” Based on ancient Chinese thinking, yin (dark) + yang (light) = the Tao, it shows all opposites reconciled in the underlying unity of the One Void whose emptiness is also a fullness. During a dinner at a conference of leading scientists at Jesus College, Cambridge in September 1992, watched by Nobel physics prizewinner Roger Penrose, Hagger reversed the formula to 0 = +A + –A when he wrote down the maths for his view of the origin and creation of the universe and showed the first two particles emerging from the Void’s singularity, influenced by the 1992 discovery of ripples in the cosmic microwave background radiation and the Presocratic Anaximander of Miletus. In this work Hagger shows how this algebraic formula has worked as a universal algorithm, 0 = +A + –A = 0. Its many variations have acted as rules that have controlled the creation and development of the expanding universe, its evolution and the rise of human history, religion and science, and its ultimate fate. The formula is behind many of Hagger’s works, and his application of this algorithm to all human knowledge of the universe and all disciplines takes him to a first-ever Theory of Everything, which is set out at the end: the algorithm of Creation containing 100 mathematical symbols (reflecting all the variations) that can be summed up in the above algorithm. This startling achievement has been made possible by his Universalist cross-disciplinary approach which focuses on the fundamental oneness of the universe and humankind, and the unitive vision.
