Book excerpt: El presente trabajo de investigación buscó reconocer la posibilidad de fortalecer el proceso de comprensión lectora desde el ejercicio de aplicación de la rutina de pensamiento "Veo, Pienso y Pregunto" (VPP), como estrategia de interpretación de enunciados matemáticos, con los que los estudiantes llegaron a proponer una serie de posibles soluciones que visibilizaron su pensamiento, estableciendo el manejo de la información como criterios de comprensión, desde la perspectiva del marco de la Enseñanza para la comprensión, en donde comprender es poder hacer algo con creatividad y flexibilidad (Unger y Wilson, 1997). Además, entender cómo el ejercicio docente desarrolla una transformación desde la reflexión constante de sus realizadores y con los cuales las prácticas de aula se moldean hacia las necesidades propicias de sus educandos, en este caso estudiantes de grado 5ð de la Institución Educativa Rural Luis Antonio Duque Peña Sede Piamonte de Girardot, en donde se establecen niveles de comprensión acordes con los desempeños obtenidos por cada uno de los participantes. Desde el ejercicio de recolección de datos, que parte de la observación de clase a estudiantes y docente de matemáticas, el diario de campo del docente, entrevistas a estudiantes, grupo focal y reflexión sobre los trabajos de los estudiantes y su participación en el aula de clase, se da paso al análisis de resultados desde categorías de análisis como son: Rol docente, rol del estudiante, metodología, estrategia y niveles de comprensión. Bajo el marco de la Investigación Acción se logró identificar de manera participante los niveles de comprensión y participación que se logra dentro del aula de clase, durante la aplicación de un ciclo compuesto por 4 sesiones de trabajo.

El objetivo de este trabajo de investigación es proponer una nueva alternativa en el trabajo de las matemáticas con las rutinas de pensamiento. Tal y como lo propone Perkins, por medio de estas actividades lograremos que los niños y niñas profundicen en sus conocimientos en este caso de las matemáticas. El desarrollar estas rutinas los lleva a comprender la naturaleza real y práctica de las matemáticas para su vida cotidiana. La investigación se realizó con un grupo de niños y niñas del grado quinto. Esto a través de los lineamientos otorgados por la Investigación Acción, que dirigió cada uno de los ciclos desarrollados en este trabajo. Se trabajó con instrumentos que nos permitieron identificar las cualidades de los niños y niñas. Entre ellos pruebas de Estado, diarios de campo, video grabaciones y aportes de participantes externos a la investigación. En el desarrollo de esta investigación determiné que las rutinas de pensamiento logran visibilizar el real conocimiento en los niños y niñas. Mejoró su comprensión sobre los procesos y la justificación de los mismos. El grupo avanzó en el análisis sobre las posibles soluciones en un problema cotidiano que requiere de las matemáticas para su solución.

Por lo anterior se pudo establecer que el uso de rutinas del pensamiento contribuye al mejoramiento de las competencias comunicativas de los estudiantes, la manera como mejora sus conocimientos y los fortalece con nuevas experiencias significativas, permitiéndole dar solución a problemas matemáticos y relacionarlos con su entorno.

Book excerpt: La presente propuesta de investigación fue diseñada con el fin de indagar sobre la incidencia que tiene la implementación de una rutina de pensamiento (llamada Veo, pienso y me pregunto) en los procesos de comprensión lectora de los estudiantes de grado primero de la Institución Educativa Técnico Empresarial Maximiliano Neira Lamus. Para ello se abordaron conceptos claves como: "rutinas de pensamiento", "enseñanza para la comprensión" (EpC) y "comprensión lectora" desde tres niveles: literal, inferencial y crítico. El diseño metodológico de este trabajo se enmarca en la investigación-acción, en la cual participaron 40 estudiantes de entre 5 y 12 años, pertenecientes al grado primero tres y la docente implementadora. Los datos obtenidos provienen de la aplicación de diferentes instrumentos: videos de las clases, diarios de observación de las docentes investigadoras, diarios de campo de la maestra participante, una prueba inicial, varias intervenciones al aula, dos grupos focales y una entrevista a la docente. En este sentido, la categorización de los datos y la triangulación de la información a la luz de las teorías permitieron demostrar avances significativos en los estudiantes con la implementación de la estrategia. De igual modo, se presentaron reflexiones que generaron cambios en las prácticas docentes de las investigadoras.
