Book excerpt: Les applications émergentes dans le domaine géographique, exploitent de plus en plus d'informations géolocalisées provenant de capteurs, notamment pour la gestion de risques urbains ou environnementaux, etc. L'utilisation de capteurs au sein du domaine de la surveillance, notamment environnementale (i.e. inondations, avalanches, volcans...), permet une interprétation plus simple du monde réel. Cependant, les grandes quantités de données issues de ces capteurs, à fréquences et positions variables dans le temps, acquises dans des environnements hostiles avec une capacité d'énergie et de communication limitée, rendent les données plus imprécises et incertaines. Le but de notre travail est donc de relever le challenge de la qualité des données issues de capteurs en temps réel, afin d'aider les utilisateurs lors de la prise de décision en situations critiques. Ainsi, nous proposons une méthodologie pour la définition, l'évaluation et la communication de la qualité des données issues de capteurs. Cette méthodologie s'inspire de méthodologies existantes traitant de la qualité de données dans différents domaines et est structurée en trois phases (la définition, l'évaluation et la communication). Cette méthodologie, à la différence des méthodologies existantes dans le domaine des systèmes d'information, a nécessité la spécification de caractéristiques des données issues de capteurs liées à la qualité des données. L'évaluation de la qualité, au sein de la méthodologie prend en compte les facteurs du contexte d'acquisition et du traitement qu'ont un impact sur la qualité des données, ainsi que la gestion des métadonnées qualité et l'évaluation de la qualité multicritères en temps réel. La méthodologie proposée est supportée par un prototype de visualisation appelé MoSDaQ qui permet de visualiser via le web les données issues des observations environnementales, conjointement aux informations liées à la qualité des données exploitées en temps réel.

The 2018 TZG updates and expands on the guidance in the one previous jointly-developed, zoonoses-specific guidance document: the 2008 Tripartite “Zoonotic Diseases: A Guide to Establishing Collaboration between Animal and Human Health Sectors at the Country Level”, developed in WHO South-East Asia Region and Western Pacific Region. The 2018 TZG supports building by countries of the resilience and capacity to address emerging and endemic zoonotic diseases such as avian influenza, rabies, Ebola, and Rift Valley fever, as well as food-borne diseases and antimicrobial resistance, and to minimize their impacts on health, livelihoods, and economies. It additionally supports country efforts to implement WHO International Health Regulations (2005) and OIE international standards, to address gaps identified through external and internal health system evaluations, and to achieve targets of the Sustainable Development Goals. The 2018 TZG provides relevant country ministries and agencies with lessons learned and good practices identified from country-level experiences in taking OH approaches for preparedness, prevention, detection and response to zoonotic disease threats, and provides guidance on multisectoral communication, coordination, and collaboration. It informs on regional and country-level OH activities and relevant unisectoral and multisectoral tools available for countries to use.
