Download or read book REDES COMUNITARIAS Y AVANCES DE SUPERVISIÓN EN TRABAJO SOCIAL written by GÓMEZ GÓMEZ Francisco and published by Editorial UNED. This book was released on 2016-04-01 with total page 237 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle.

Download or read book Effective Supervision in Social Work written by Kate Howe and published by Learning Matters. This book was released on 2012-11-19 with total page 177 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: It is vital that social work managers and leaders are able to deliver and manage effective supervision to their teams. Recent social work reports such as the Munro Review into Child Protection (2011) identified poor supervision as a barrier to good and effective social work practice and highlighted the need for quality supervision to become embedded within departments. This book demonstrates how both managers and their staff can engage with supervision with a view to successful outcomes. There are detailed sections on audit tasks and reflection questions to enable readers to increase awareness of their role as well as develop action plans for improvement in their practice.

Download or read book Supervisión: Voces que colaboran para super(ar)visiones written by Ainhoa Berasaluze Correa and published by Nau Llibres. This book was released on 2024-05-21 with total page 182 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle.
Book Synopsis Supervision in Social Work by : Alfred Kadushin
Download or read book Supervision in Social Work written by Alfred Kadushin and published by Columbia University Press. This book was released on 2014-04-01 with total page 429 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: First published in 1976, Supervision in Social Work has become an essential text for social work educators and students, detailing the state of the field and the place, function, and challenges of supervision in social work practice. This fifth edition takes into account the sizable number of articles and books published on supervision since 2002. Changes in public health and social welfare policy have intensified concern about the social work supervision of licensed practitioners. Tax and spending limitations at all levels of government, combined with the unfolding effects of welfare reform and managed health care, have increasingly emphasized the need for the efficient and accountable administration of health and social services in the private and public sectors. This edition confronts issues raised by these developments, including budgetary allocation and staff management, the problems of worker burnout and safety, the changing demographics and growing diversity of the supervising workforce, evidence-based and licensure supervision, and performance appraisal.

Book Synopsis Made-to-Measure Future(s) for Democracy? by : Julen Zabalo
Download or read book Made-to-Measure Future(s) for Democracy? written by Julen Zabalo and published by Springer Nature. This book was released on 2022-11-25 with total page 362 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This open access volume analyses the development of democracy at different levels of governance (from local to global). The Basque search for an institutional and democratic model that adapts to its social needs and solves its problems offers an interesting perspective for analyzing the way in which democracy is seeking new forms of materialization from the local to the global. The volume is divided into four parts. The chapters in Part I analyze the tensions between the neoliberal vision of democracy and the voices contesting it, with projections at different levels of government. The chapters in Part II focus on the emerging framework and scales of Western democracy. The chapters in Part III present new forms of citizen participation, paying special - though not exclusive - attention to new practical strategies for Basque society. The volume concludes with a block of chapters on the relevance of reviewing the methodological and epistemological frameworks from which knowledge about democracy and mechanisms of citizen participation is generated (Part IV). By delving deeper into the idea and practice of democratic governance, this volume will be of interest to researchers and students from all disciplines of politics, international relations, sociology and law.
