Sebastiano Brandolini graduated at the Architectural Association in London in 1982, and at the Milan Polytechnic in 1986. From 1983 to 1996 he was editor of the Italian magazine "Casabella." He is currently architectural correspondent of "D - La Repubblica," the only Italian popular magazine featuring architecture on a regular basis. He acts as juror of the trans-national "Alpine Architecture" competition. He writes for many specialized journals and is particularly interested in the relationship between architecture and engineering. Over the years he taught at the Milan Polytechnic, at the IUAV in Venice, and at the London School of Economics. Since 1994 he has been running his own architectural design practice(with Monica Valdameri). Among his latest projects: the redesign of a number of Hertz position in the Milan area and a major Leisure Centre in the Milan edge-city.
