By this standard and for this reason, we are tested through our relationship with Him and our fellowman. Our covenant with God is known as an exclusive covenant (if we obey God, we are blessed, and if we disobey we are cursed) while our relationship with man is known as a mutual covenant (a common agreement between two or more people). God inspired a covenant with Him and one another within Marriage, Family, and Friendships, to help us establish our reputations in these areas, which would give us a Good Name as we remain faithful to Him while keeping trustworthiness and honesty within these relationships.
