Warum das so ist und wie es dazu gekommen ist wollen wir in unserer Hausarbeit untersuchen und analysieren. Dabei sind für uns die wichtigsten Fragen: Wo ist der Unterschied zwischen einen jugendlichen und einen erwachsenen Kriminellen? In welchen Taten und in welchem Zusammenhang äußert sich die Jugendkriminalität? Wie kommt es dazu, dass ein Jugendlicher kriminell wird und welche Schuld trägt die Umgebung? Gibt es einen Zusammenhang zwischen der sozialen und staatlichen Herkunft des Jugendlichen und seinen kriminellen Neigungen? Nachdem wir das ausgearbeitet haben, wollen wir uns, um ein volles Bild der Materie zu erlangen, mit Gegenmaßnahmen zur Jugendkriminalität und Möglichkeiten der Wiedereingliederung der kriminellen Jugendlichen in die Gesellschaft beschäftigen.

Nach Angaben eines Polizeisprechers hatte der Mann noch in der S-Bahn versucht, eine Auseinandersetzung zwischen mehreren Jugendlichen zu schlichten. Daraufhin schlugen die Jugendlichen brutal auf den Mann ein. Dieser starb noch am selben Abend an seinen schweren Kopfverletzungen. Die Medien reagieren auf solche Vorfälle immer sehr schnell mit verschiedenen Begründungen und Ursachen und stilisieren den Skandal in der Öffentlichkeit hoch. Doch hinter den ganzen gewalttätigen Angriffen und Ausbrüchen der Jugendlichen stecken immer tiefere Ursachen als nur ein Faktor. Auf den folgenden Seiten werden Jugendkriminalität und ihre Ursachen sowie Bekämpfungsmaßnahmen und Lösungsvorschläge erläutert. Anhand verschiedener Statistiken lässt sich die Entwicklung der Jugendkriminalität aufzeigen. Es wird deutlich, wie viele Ursachen wirklich hinter Jugendkriminalität stecken und was Jugendliche zu solchen Taten bringt.

Der aktuelle Prozess gegen drei Jugendliche aus München, die im September vergangenen Jahres einen Mann aufgrund seiner Zivilcourage zu Tode schlugen, löste eine bundesweite Debatte über Jugendkriminalität aus und wurde zum Mittelpunkt gesellschaftlicher sowie politischer Diskussionen. Aufgrund täglicher "Schreckensberichte" in den Medien ist zu vermuten, dass die Brutalität Jugendlicher und das Ausmaß von Jugendkriminalität in Deutschland in den letzten Jahren enorm gestiegen sind. Doch, ob diese Vermutung der Realität entspricht und nicht ausschließlich durch die Medien hervorgerufen wird, soll unter anderem in dieser Arbeit überprüft werden. Während vieler politischer Diskussionen tritt immer wieder die Frage in den Vordergrund, ob es sinnvoll sei, härtere Sanktionsmaßnahmen einzuführen und das Jugendgesetz zu verschärfen. Bezüglich dieser Fragen werden viele empirische Untersuchungen durchgeführt, die die Wirkung von Gefängnisaufhalten und therapeutischen Maßnahmen untersuchen sowie vergleichen. Die vorliegende Arbeit beschäftigt sich demnach mit der Leitfrage, ob die Verschärfung von Sanktionsmaßnahmen das Ausmaß von Jugendkriminalität vermindern kann und welche möglichen Präventionsmaßnahmen eine angemessene Wirkung erzielen. Im ersten Teil der Arbeit sollen die Begriffe Kriminalität, Jugendliche und Jugendkriminalität erläutert werden, um eine eindeutige Definitionsgrundlage für diese Arbeit zu schaffen. Zunächst wird der Unterschied zwischen abweichendem Verhalten und Kriminalität im Allgemeinen und von Jugendlichen im Speziellen geklärt. Im darauf folgenden Kapitel wird, ausgehend von einigen statistischen Befunden, die aktuelle Lage in Deutschland und die vorherrschenden Taten krimineller Jugendlicher angesprochen. Anschließend werden, als eine logische Erweiterung, die Ursachen untersucht die dazu führen, dass ein Jugendlicher kriminell wird und in dem Zusammenhang wird weiterhin beleuchtet, welche Rolle die Umgebung bzw. die soziale und staatliche Herkunft des Jugendlichen einnimmt. Nach dieser Ausarbeitung möchte geht es abschließend um die Frage nach möglichen Gegenmaßnahmen zur Lösung des Problems der Jugendkriminalität in unserer Gesellschaft.

In the 1950s he published numerous homoerotic photographs under the pseudonym "Jim" in Der Kreis (The Circle), the legendary international gay magazine that featured highly sophisticated photographs by, among others, George Platt Lynes and Herbert List. Weinberger was one of the first queer photographers to show his often working class models posing in their everyday surroundings. Book excerpt: There are more than 20 theories that explain crime. Each theory has weaknesses, and no scholar knows which theory is best. To remedy this unsatisfactory situation a new research program of comparative theory testing is proposed. Comparing the theories with each other has not yet been successful. The alternative, suggested in this book, is to show how criminological theories must be modified if they are compared with a general behavioral theory. The book shows under which conditions the major criminological theories provide valid explanations of crime. The latter thus become integrated as parts of the general theory. The general theory that is chosen is a version of the theory of rational action. This is not the problematic version discussed in the literature, but states the real conditions of decision making and, thus, explains when people actually violate the law or remain law-abiding. The general theory is a component of a theoretical approach that explains individual behavior in interaction with societal (macro) conditions. This micro-macro approach is summarized in a proposed structural-cognitive model. This is part of the new program of Analytical Criminology. It suggests empirical theory comparison, process explanations, and micro-macro explanations. The book is not only written for readers who are interested in theories of crime and deviant behavior. It is also a treatise in "analytical" (i.e., rigorous) theory construction and empirical theory comparison.
