Usūl al-Fiqh in this sense provides the standard criteria for the correct deduction of the rulings of fiqh from the sources of Shari’ah (the Qur’an and Sunnah).

I beseech you to uphold it as taught and practiced by the Holy Apostle." In it lies peace, prosperity, security, growth and development of mankind. The book in addition will prove that there is no opinion difference or disagreement on the Sunnah, and that all the practices of the Holy Apostle have been reported.
