Katholische Fachhochschule Freiburg im Breisgau (Fachbereich Heilpädagogik), Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Die Idee zur vorliegenden Diplomarbeit entstand im Kontext einer Integrationsmaßnahme, welche die Autorin seit März 2005 im Auftrag einer Frühförderstelle durchführt. Sie begleitet den 5-jährigen Jungen Lasse mit Asperger-Syndrom in den Waldkindergarten „Amselnest, e.V.“. Im Laufe der ersten Monate wurde deutlich, dass die Struktur des Kindergartens, bedingt durch den Wald und die Konzeption gute Möglichkeiten für die Entwicklung des Jungen bietet. Besonders zeigte sich dies in den Bereichen Kommunikation, Wahrnehmung und Sozialkompetenz. Diese Beobachtung und die Erfahrungen der Autorin in der täglichen Arbeit, legten die Vermutung nahe, dass der Waldkindergarten auch für andere autistische Kinder besonders gute Entwicklungsmöglichkeiten bieten könnte. In der Literatur zum Thema Waldkindergärten ließ sich erfahren, dass in der Pädagogik der Waldkindergärten den Entwicklungsbereichen, die besonders bei Kindern mit autistischen Verhaltensweisen förderbedürftig sind, eine große Bedeutung beigemessen wird. Außerdem sind Kinder mit Behinderungen hier konzeptionell erwünscht. Diese Sachverhalte wurden zum Anlass genommen, sich intensiver mit dem Zusammenhang Autismus und Waldkindergarten zu beschäftigen. In dieser Diplomarbeit soll herausgestellt werden, welche Chancen und Grenzen die Integration von Kindern mit autistischen Verhaltensweisen im Waldkindergarten bergen kann.

Des Weiteren wird die Fraget: „Welche Verfahrensweise bei der Zusammenarbeit mit Kooperationspartnern bedarf es im letzten Kindergartenjahr, um ein autistisches Kind die bestmögliche Begleitung zu ermöglichen, sodass abschließend von einem gelingenden Übergangsprozess gesprochen werden kann?“ versucht zu beantworten. Im Theorieteil dieser Arbeit liegt der Schwerpunkt auf den Themen Transition, Kooperation und der Autismus-Spektrum-Störung. Grundlage dafür sind Fachtexte und Fachbücher verschiedener Autoren, die sich mit diesen Themen auseinandergesetzt haben. Zunächst wird der Begriff Transition definiert. Außerdem wird die Begleitung der Transition durch die Ko-Konstruktion anhand des IFP-Transitionsmodells erläutert und die Bedeutung des Transitionsprozesses für das Kind dargestellt. Ein weiterer Punkt der theoretischen Erarbeitung deckt die Begriffsdefinition zur Kooperation ab. Unter anderem wurden hierfür Ziele herausgearbeitet, die für einen gelingenden Übergangsprozess relevant sind. Anschließend werden auch die beteiligten Kooperationspartner im Übergangsprozess und die daraus resultierenden Probleme und Organisationsschwierigkeiten der beteiligten Institutionen bei der Zusammenarbeit aufgezeigt. Der Eintritt in die Schule ist für ein Kind, aber auch für die Eltern meist ein großer und bedeutender Schritt in einen neuen Lebensabschnitt. Kinder freuen sich auf die Schule, da sie endlich zu den „Großen“ gehören und Fähigkeiten wie das Lesen, Schreiben und Rechnen erlernen können. Der Übergang vom Kindergarten in die Grundschule stellt somit ein zentrales Ereignis im Lebensverlauf eines Kindes dar, welches unter Umständen auch als kritisches Lebensereignis betrachtet werden kann. Um den Faktoren Überforderung und Belastung entgegenzuwirken und einen gelingenden Übergang zu ermöglichen, ist eine Zusammenarbeit und eine Abstimmung der unterschiedlichen Bildungs- und Lerninhalte der beiden Institutionen Kindergarten und Grundschule ausschlaggebend. Für Kinder mit tiefgreifenden Entwicklungsstörungen wie der Autismus-Spektrum-Störung, stellt die Transition Kindergarten-Grundschule für das Kind und deren Eltern eine umso größere Herausforderung dar.

The major debates in language acquisition theory today focus not on whether there are some sensitivities to syntactic information but rather which sensitivities are available to children and how they might be translated into the organizing principles that get syntactic learning off the ground. The Origins of Grammar presents a synthesis of work done by the authors, who have pioneered one of the most important methodological advances in language learning in the past decade: the intermodal preferential looking paradigm, which can be used to assess lexical and syntactic knowledge in children as young as 13 months. In addition to drawing together their groundbreaking empirical work, the authors use these results to describe a theory of language learning that emphasizes the role of multiple cues and forces in development. They show how infants shift their reliance on different aspects of the linguistic input, moving from a bias to attend to prosodic information to a reliance on semantic information, and finally to a reliance on the syntax itself. Viewing language acquisition as the product of a biased learner who takes advantage of the information available from a variety of sources in his or her environment, The Origins of Grammar provides a new way of thinking about the process of language comprehension.
