Book excerpt: When it was first released, Secret Inner Order Teachings of the Golden Dawn was a significant addition to the Golden Dawn corpus and made available second-order Golden Dawn magic material which was unavailable to those who at that point considered Israel Regardie as the only source of Golden Dawn magical material. the papers contained in this book provide the much needed keys to understand the Golden Dawn system in its entirety. However, just as the Golden Dawn was not just intellectual information gathered under one heading but contained oral instruction to make the system come alive, so this material came with extensive traditions that make it useful to the student. For the first time, Golden Dawn authority Pat Zalewski, who was trained by the Inner Order adepts of the Golden Dawn, reveals the key to this material. The release of the second edition of this book has given Zalewski the opportunity to add more material including some of the obscure Stooping Dragon formula which Israel Regardie considered the secret to mastering the stock market. Lord Manticore takes the opportunity to improve the original diagrams which had some inaccuracies and were poorly drawn and provide the book in full colour for the first time.

Book excerpt: When the first edition of the Secret Inner Order Rituals of the Golden Dawn book was released in 1988 it was about an unknown Golden Dawn temple, Whare ra, in New Zealand, that few people had heard of. It had closed its doors some ten years earlier after its founding in 1912 by Dr Robert Felkin. Many of the elderly adepti were then still living at the time of the books publication. This book revealed not only the history of Whare ra temple in Havelock North, but that some of its adepti had taught others its teachings, rituals and methodologies. The real surprise in the book was the first publication of the 6=5 and 7=4 rituals of the Stella Matutina, which author Pat Zalewski, had been awarded. The second edition has made a number of corrections to the historical element of the book in lieu of more recent research and also additions to the 6=5 and 7=4 rituals, which had a number of copying errors and omissions in them. This edition presents a far more balanced perspective on the last of the Stella Matutina temples from the point of view of its members, as told to the author and of the struggles they had in continuing it into the 1970s.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: A century ago, Celtic groups descending from the famed Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn pioneered a fascinating form of ceremonial magic invoking Pagan Celtic powers instead of relying on the more commonly used Judeo-Christian names and symbols. Those groups disappeared many decades ago, and their teachings were lost. But today, their legacy has been reborn. Respected occult author and Grand Archdruid John Michael Greer has re-created a complete magical system based on the Celtic Golden Dawn traditions. This new book provides students with a complete curriculum of Druidical magic and occult wisdom, including training in ceremonial magic, meditation, pathworking, divination, geomancy, and herbal alchemy, allowing self-initiation into the three degrees of Ovate, Bard, and Druid. Structured to resemble a long-lost correspondence course, The Celtic Golden Dawn presents a series of knowledge lectures, meditations, and rituals leading to mastery of the most important magical techniques.

Based on Kabbalistic techniques, the teachings of the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn, and an Hermetic tradition spanning nearly two thousand years, this innovative new work introduces the history of the Golden Dawn and its mythology, the Tree of Life, Deities, demons, rules for practicing magic, and components of effective ritual. A comprehensive course of self-initiation using Israel Regardie's seminal Golden Dawn as a key reference point, Kabbalah, Magic and the Great Work of Self-Transformation guides you through the levels of the Golden Dawn system of ritual magic. Each grade in this system corresponds with a sphere in the Kabbalistic Tree of Life and includes daily rituals, required reading, written assignments, projects, and additional exercises. Book excerpt: While being the touchstone for Western Mystery Tradition magic, the Golden Dawn system has been largely shrouded in secrecy. While versions of its rituals have been published, these have been hacked and valuable material missing. Most importantly, the valuable information about how to work these rituals is largely unpublished. This has created a ridiculous situation where many self-appointed Golden Dawn experts have no idea how to work the important initiation rituals or even understand how they are supposed to work. Fortunately, the Golden Dawn Tradition has managed to preserve its secret teaching through the work of those who were members of its last surviving temple in New Zealand - Whare Ra. Although that temple shut in the late 1970s. some of its senior adepts were able to pass on this secret teaching to a new generation. One of these was Pat Zalewski who has adapted and developed the work of Whare Ra Hierophant Jack Taylor, who was a model Golden Dawn adept and his mentor. This expanded Third Edition Golden Dawn Rituals and Commentaries provides those seeking the magical truth behind the Golden Dawn with the information they need. Not only do they have the full unedited rituals and diagrams, but also the magical mechanics of how to work them correctly. This edition is the first to contain the complete rituals from 0=) to 7=$, commentaries on the Equinox and Consecration of the Vault rituals and the instruction and experiences of those who have been working them through the 20th to the 21st century.

Book excerpt: The Golden Dawn (GD) system of magic is the main source of the esoteric and magical wisdom and techniques practiced in the West today. While the rituals and bare teachings of the tradition have been published for sixty years, the inner workings and esoteric keys that empower those rituals have largely remained unpublished or unexplored in contemporary works. By Names and Images remedies this lack by providing detailed and clear instructions for the visualisations, spiritual connections and energetic practices required for every major GD practice and ritual, as well as several unpublished techniques. Focusing on the meanings and use of sacred names and practical techniques of visualisation, the book thoroughly explores meditation and divination, purification ritual, invocation and evocation, grades of initiation, and direct experience of the inner realms. Also covered is an explanation of the Qabalah and its use as a magical framework. While the book is sufficiently practical and clearly explained to be of huge benefit to a newcomer to magic, its primary aim is to allow people already practicing the Golden Dawn system to do so more effectively, and to be touched by the amazing spiritual blessings the rituals offer.

Book excerpt: The Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn was founded in the late 1887. Its system founded upon variously obscured sources to include Karr, Sibley, and Hockley. While the system was very diverse in its sources of information and incorporation, a main focused in sewed. Upon the division of the order through strife and content, the Hermetic Order of Alpha et Omega was born. The division was clear and the future of the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn was divided. With a new focus in place, Macgregor Mathers continued his movement toward an obedient and well-focused fusion of Adepti. The AthorTemple continued to develop an invaluable system of Inner Order grades and subgrades. With this unique system in place, the temple presented itself superior in lecture than all other temples and orders. The various lectures presented in this first volume are of great importance. The texts themselves have not been published before and will shed great light on the thought, mind, and emotion driven into the Adepts of the Inner Order. The materials covered here range from Adeptus Minor to Adeptus Exemptus. This text will prove invaluable to the Initiate and Adept alike, as well as promote continual growth in the old system laid out long before us. The subsequent volumes to come will provide a full outline of the Adeptus Minor subgrades, as well as new materials for the more important grades of Adeptus Major and Exemptus.Let us not forget that we owe much gratitude to Mr. Jack Slater; V.H. Frater V.Q.P. of the Athor Temple, whose hand each of these lectures are presented to you in, with the exception of the Adeptus Major and Exemtpus papers, which are of Mathers hand. They are unaltered from his original manuscript, presented here, as a subsequent text to Dr. Israel Regardie's The Golden Dawn.
