Book excerpt: Depuis quelques années, la recherche s'intéresse à la dynamique de l'écriture, particulièrement chez l'enfant. Vers l'âge de huit ans, avec l'automatisation du geste graphique, il est possible d'observer une interaction entre les traitements de haut et de bas niveau. Par ailleurs, de précédentes études ont démontré l'influence des processus orthographiques sur les processus moteurs en production écrite. Dans ce contexte, l'étude que nous avons menée s'est intéressée aux performances des enfants dys en dictée de mots et de pseudomots sur une tablette graphique. Nous les avons comparées à celles d'enfants sans trouble. Nous avons analysé les données cinématiques (latence et durée) et le taux d'erreurs orthographiques. Les résultats ont révélé que, globalement, les enfants avec un TSAp conservaient un traitement sériel en raison de latences plus conséquentes que leurs pairs. Ils étaient également d'autant plus impactés par l'effet de lexicalité dans la dynamique de leur écriture et sur leurs erreurs, du fait d'un traitement central moins efficient. Finalement, notre étude confirme l'idée selon laquelle le TSAp affectant le langage écrit, influence les aspects lexicaux en production écrite, que ce soit sur la dynamique de l'écriture, ou sur les erreurs orthographiques.

L'adolescent dyslexique-dysorthographique, concerné par le phénomène, se trouve également par définition confronté à des difficultés au niveau du langage écrit. Des années d'efforts et de suivi ne suffisant souvent pas à obtenir des résultats satisfaisants et escomptés, il peut s'observer chez ces adolescents un dégoût profond pour tout ce qui se rapporte à l'écrit. Notre étude s'est donc axée sur ce sujet et l'influence d'une approche artistique de l'écriture sur le rapport à l'écrit chez cette population. Nous avons pu suivre treize adolescents, scolarisés de la sixième à la seconde et suivis en individuel ou en groupe, à qui nous avons proposé un projet d'écriture de textes artistiques et un questionnaire reprenant les différents aspects que nous voulions observer, notamment sur leur rapport à l'écrit. Avec pour support des boucles musicales choisies ou créées avec les participants, nous avons pu écrire des textes qui ont petit à petit pris la forme de chansons dont les thèmes étaient définis au début de la phase de composition. Afin de comparer les réponses, le questionnaire a été soumis une première fois en amont de la phase d'écriture, une seconde fois en fin d'étude et a permis d'observer une évolution positive plus ou moins marquée du rapport à l'écrit chez les participants, ainsi qu'au niveau de leur estime personnelle liée à l'écriture. De plus, d'après l'analyse des réponses, nous avons pu constater quelques divergences selon que le projet fût proposé aux groupes ou en individuel et recueillir un certain nombre de confidences concernant des productions personnelles et quelques formes d'écrits appréciées par les participants.
