Einige natiirlich vorkommende Wuchs stoffe werden in diesem Werk eingehender behandelt. 1m Brennpunkt der neueren Entwicklung stehen Stoffe, weIche das Bliihen beeinflussen, den Fruchtabfall ver hindern, die Frostresistenz erhohen oder auf andere Weise zum Nutzen von Kul turpflanzen verwendet werden sollen. Auf dem Gebiet der Insektizide ist die Si tuation ahnlich.
