Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Hope: Where Can We Find It? This book has laid down a number of hopeful stories with references from the Bible to some contemporaries of our times. Notwithstanding the trials, temptations, or pain we may go through, we can always hold onto the hope God has extended to us. Believers in Christ and nonbelievers, don't allow your yesterday to steal your today. Your past cannot dictate your today and future. That is what we call hope. Hope backed by faith makes us certain of what we hope for and gives us proof of what we cannot envision. So where can we find hope? The answer is clear and simple. We can only find hope in Jesus Christ. Jesus did not come only to bring us salvation, but he's our only hope too. We have hope because Jesus has forgiven us our sins and has further converted all of us into his icon as children of the father. Jesus is hope. He finds us rest when there's no hope. "Yes, my soul, find rest in God; my Hope comes from him. Truly he is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will not be shaken. My salvation and my honor depend on God; he is my mighty rock, my refuge" (Psalms 62:5-7). Have you ever bothered to read into the promises of God to mankind? Hope is found in all the promises God has given his children. You cannot find Hope anywhere, except in Jesus Christ alone. His promises are yes and amen, and he does not take his words back nor change his mind. "God is not human, that he should lie, not a human being, that he should change his mind. Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfill?" (Numbers 23:19) Hope is found in the promises God has given us, so why do you doubt the promises of God? We doubt it because his timing is not ours. The Scripture says in James 1:6, "If we doubt while we ask, we will not receive anything from Him, because we are unsteady. He who doubts is like a wave of the sea blown and tossed by the wind." As salvation is found in no one else but in Christ, so is hope. It's found in no other but in Christ Jesus. Keep your hope alive in Jesus, not in man.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Hello, my dear. If you're reading this, today is your start to becoming a new, improved, and best version of yourself, and it will change your life forever! It changed mine! Now, one thing is for sure: Change is not easy. When you're striving hard to do the right thing and to fulfill your purpose in life, there will be people, places, and things that will try to deter you from walking in your purpose and will try to take you back to the place that you have been delivered from. So brace yourself. It gets harder from here. But even though the road gets rough, God will never leave you. He will give you the strength that you need to get through any situation, joy in the midst of pain, and His peace that passes all understanding; that's all you need. Hope is defined as a feeling of expectation and desire for a certain thing to happen, a feeling of trust. Life has all kinds of disappointments. These disappointments may have started to harden your heart, made you lose hope, or made you live with no expectations at all. Disappointments may have made you believe that expectations are letdowns; if you do not expect things, then you will not be let down. You may have started to always expect the worst for your life, and maybe you have become content with suffering. My friend, Satan thought he had you, but it is time to get your hope back! I love you! Always and forever, Hope

The Bible says it is the confident assurance that God is faithful, and will complete what He has begun. It is an assured trust in God’s promises ‒ not a hoping for the best with fingers crossed! Christ living in us is our hope, our assurance, of glory (Colossians 1:27). Our hope is in God alone. He is our assurance in this life and the next. When we leave this earth, we will be in Heaven for ever. That is why we need to know for sure that we are born again and have Jesus in our hearts.

Reynolds) 4 starred reviews! * An Indie Next List Pick! * Named one of Bank Street College of Education's Best Children’s Books of the Year! Two-time Edgar Award finalist Lamar Giles spotlights the consequences of societal pressure, confronts toxic masculinity, and explores the complexity of what it means to be a “real man.” Del has had a crush on Kiera Westing since kindergarten. And now, during their junior year, she’s finally available. So when Kiera volunteers for an opportunity at their church, Del’s right behind her. Though he quickly realizes he’s inadvertently signed up for a Purity Pledge. His dad thinks his wires are crossed, and his best friend, Qwan, doesn’t believe any girl is worth the long game. But Del’s not about to lose his dream girl, and that’s where fellow pledger Jameer comes in. He can put in the good word. In exchange, Del just has to get answers to the Pledgers’ questions…about sex ed. With other boys circling Kiera like sharks, Del needs to make his move fast. But as he plots and plans, he neglects to ask the most important question: What does Kiera want? He can’t think about that too much, though, because once he gets the girl, it’ll all sort itself out. Right? "With true-to-life characters and a straightforward handling of sex, including often ignored aspects of male sexuality, Giles’s thoughtful, hilarious read offers a timely viewpoint on religion, toxic masculinity, and teen sexuality." Book excerpt: The Door of Hope is a brief exploration that God's hope can offer blessings to the believer and counsels the unbeliever that hope from God can richly transform their lives. The author uses stories from the Bible on how simple, ordinary people relied on God's promise of hope to accomplish extraordinary feats of courage. Readers of this book can apply these teachings today in their lives in the midst of this sin-filled world. The author uses anecdotes from his personal experiences as a testimony to what God's hope has done for him. A door is an access to something on the other side. God offers access to opportunities of blessings for those who seek Him through His Door of Hope, Jesus Christ. It doesn't matter what has happened in the past. God's hope can make your past a thing in the past by giving you a future and a hope!

Book excerpt: She couldn't think of a time when she wasn't in the system. There had to be some time. People aren't just born and put into a treatment center, right? Sometime in her past, there had to be a point where she was a normal kid, living with some semblance of a normal family, in something resembling a normal house. Hope Bruin isn't the average fourteen-year-old. She's been in foster care all her life, bouncing from home to home, family to family. This means her unanswered questions about herself and her past are infinite. And her questions are only multiplying. With her strange dreams about poisonous green eyes, bony hands veiled by cloaks, and a majestic bear, Hope's attention is often pulled away to a secret world. Just when things start to fall into place for Hope for the first time, her mysterious dreams start to become reality, and she is visited by creatures and spirits who are anything but human. Hope finds out that she is supernaturally connected to one of the beings from her dream, and now she has to become one with a creature she knows little about. What secrets do Hope's strange dreams hold? Would she actually want to know? Will she ever be normal? In Hope Rising, readers will go on a fantastic journey with a very different kind of girl who learns that even the most seemingly unloved people can have larger-than-life destinies.
