Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This novel follows journalist Conrad Banner who is intent on filming a documentary in the Occupied Palestinian Territories. Inspired by his father Mark – an author and foreign correspondent with numerous journalism awards for his coverage in the Middle East – Banner’s documentary presents a factually impartial account of the conflict. Hatred and violence was also being continually provoked by Israel’s ethnic cleansing of the indigenous population which was whitewashed by a form of propaganda known was hasbara, or ‘explanation’. Such propaganda was aimed at an international audience to portray contentious Israeli action and policies – past and present – in a positive light while providing a negative portrayal of Arabs in general, and Palestinians in particular. Along with Jewish activist Adam Peltz and Palestinian guide Sami Hadawi, Banner finds himself unwelcome, resulting in some hazardous and ultimately fatal consequences. Hiramic Brotherhood is motivated by the blatant denial of human rights to millions ot people, and in particular children, by the double standard of Western democracies. Exploring themes of culture, racism, religion and violence, Hanna brings to the fore a compelling story of struggle and divide.

Book excerpt: Despite the persistence of the fraternal form of association in guilds, trade unions, and political associations, as well as in fraternal social organizations, scholars have often ignored its importance as a cultural and social theme. This provocative volume helps to redress that neglect. Tracing the development of fraternalism from early modern western Europe through eighteenth-century Britain to nineteenth-century America, Mary Ann Clawson shows how white males came to use fraternal organizations to resolve troubling questions about relations between the sexes and between classes: American fraternalism in the 1800s created bonds of loyalty across class lines and made gender and race primary categories of collective identity. British men had symbolically become stone masons to express their commitment to the emerging market economy and to the social value of craft labor. Clawson points out that American fraternalism fulfilled similar purposes, as fraternal organizations reconciled individualism and mutuality for many who were discomfited by the conflict of egalitarian principles and capitalist industrial development. Fraternalism's extraordinary appeal rested also on the assertion of masculine solidarity in the face of feminine claims to moral leadership. Nevertheless, visions of solidarity were contradicted when fraternal organizations became increasingly entrepreneurial, seeking to maximize their own growth through systematic marketing of membership. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Apartheid Israel's persistent criminal ethnic cleansing of the Palestinian people and its imperious violation of international law is aided and abetted by the shameful silence of a cowed international community whose reprobate political leaders and representatives have sold out to highly organized and well-financed pro-Zionist lobbying groups such as the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) which in the United States controls the White House and the Congress. AIPAC's tight stranglehold on the U.S. government ensures not only that the concept of "government of the people, by the people, for the people" has perished, but also that Israel's criminality will continue to escape serious United Nations censure because of U.S. vetoes. A further erosion of democracy is facilitated by the corporate mass media which rather than being the rallying "voice of the people" is instead compliant to the interests of the Anglo- Zionist Political Corporate Military Industrial Empire: An Empire which is voraciously dependent on continual military conflicts that serve as a distraction from the iniquities of a world where some twelve million children under the age of five die annually and almost half of the world's wealth belongs to just one percent of the population - January 2014 Oxfam report Working for the Few: Political capture and economic inequality - whose money buys influence over the governance of the brainwashed majority. This raises the question as to whether there are enough Americans with sufficient intelligence and determination to take back their country? It is against this background that an Israeli archaeologist, an Israeli investigative journalist, and a British foreign correspondent resolve to expose both secret Israeli plans for tunnel excavations towards and under Temple Mount - known as the al-Haram a-Sharif and site of the Islamic Dome of the Rock and the Al-Aqsa Mosque - and the existence of a secret Brotherhood within the ranks of Freemasonry working towards the provocative and dangerous Judaic objective of building the "Third Temple" on that same Islamic site.

Book excerpt: Set against a backdrop of hatred and violence, Hiramic Brotherhood: Ezekiel's Temple Prophecy delves into the issue of Israel's ethnic cleansing of Palestinians and addresses racist crimes against humanity in in the Middle East. The novel follows journalist Conrad Banner who having been influenced by his father, Mark - an author and foreign correspondent with numerous journalism awards for his coverage of the Middle East - is intent on filming a factually impartial documentary of a conflict resulting from almost seventy years of illegal and often barbaric occupation. Hatred and violence was also being provoked mostly by the ethnic cleansing of the indigenous Palestinian population by Israel whose crimes against humanity were being whitewashed by a form of propaganda known as hasbara, or 'explanation'. Such propaganda was directed at an international audience to portray contentious Israeli actions and polices - past and present - in a positive light while providing a negative portrayal of Arabs in general, and Palestinians in particular. Along with Jewish activist Adam Peltz and Palestinian guide Sami Hadawi, Banner's endeavours are unwelcome and often culminate in hazardous and ultimately fatal consequences. The novel is motivated by Israel's blatant denial of basic human rights to millions of Palestinians including children whose endless persecution is hypocritically tolerated by the double standards of so-called Western democracies. Exploring the themes of culture, racism, religion and violence, Hanna brings to the fore compelling story of struggle and divide.

Book excerpt: "Throughout the ages, there have been men and women in every race and religion that have mastered time and space, transcended the cycles of karma and rebirth, and returned to the Source of all life. By attaining the goal of life, the ascension, these souls have become ascended masters. In this book, drawn from the author’s pivotal spiritual conference held at Mount Shasta in 1975, you will discover how the saints and sages of both East and West work together behind the scenes of life with seekers in every field of human endeavor. Learn about this vast brotherhood of light, known as the Great White Brotherhood (the word “white” refers not to race but to the aura of white light that surrounds these ascended masters), their devotion to humanity, and their tireless efforts to help you and those you love. Contains an easy-to-understand and unique approach to spiritual astrology called the “Cosmic Clock,” with diagrams. Also explores key interpretations of the Book of Revelation, America’s unique role, and the little-known vision of George Washington and the prophecy of Sir William Hope about the future of America. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: 'Steiner has been able to clarify the historical reality behind the Rosicrucian story, with all its aura of glamour and fantasy. That effected, he points to the enormity of its vision for the future evolution of ideas...' – Dr Andrew Welburn (from the Introduction)In the immediate aftermath of the 'Mystery-act' of the Christmas Foundation Conference, Rudolf Steiner chose to speak on the subject of 'Rosicrucianism and Modern Initiation, Mystery Centres of the Middle Ages'. Clearly connected to the events that had just taken place in Dornach – in which he not only refounded the Anthroposophical Society but took a formal position within it – Steiner begins by exploring the intellectual life of the Middle Ages and the role that Mystery culture played within it. He throws new light on the foundations of Rosicrucianism, its principles of initiation and its inherent impulse for freedom. Steiner also discusses the secret teachings of the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries, and the dawn of the age of the Archangel Michael. In the second series of lectures, entitled 'The Easter Festival and the History of the Mysteries' (April 1924), Steiner describes how festivals grew out of the Mysteries themselves. He speaks of Mysteries connected to Spring and Autumn, Adonis and Ephesus, and the significance of Sun and Moon. Throughout the volume he discusses the roles of Alexander the Great and Aristotle in world history and the significance of Aristotle's 'Categories'. Published for the first time as a single volume, the freshly revised text is complemented with an extensive introduction by Dr Andrew Welburn, detailed notes and appendices by Professor Frederick Amrine and an index.
