During our adventures, we seldom met many travelers, as Southern Oregon's splendor is so vast there could be thousands of hikers in these mountains at the same time, and yet meeting or passing others is a rarity. On occasion, we would meet hikers that carried the excitement of having seen or had an encounter with a Sasquatch, and on those occasions, they were very anxious to share their experience.
